    Actually, for a lot of collectors, that's an accurate statement. I don't understand the mindset in the slightest, but it's definitely real. For another example, I don't think Hulk #271 would be nearly as high as it is if Marvel Preview #7 had been a comic rather than a magazine. I don't get it either. A comic magazine is simply a comic book in larger form. Additionally, comic books were routinely referred to as magazines for decades. Sometimes, right on the cover of the comic. It's two formats of the same thing.

    Thanks. Charlton doesn't get much love and deservedly so in many cases but man some of the covers are sweet.

    Not that I have the disposable cash to throw at a 9.4 FF 5 but it's this kind of stuff that makes me very glad I don't, and in many cases can't, chase high grade books anymore. There are just too many shenanigans going on. Sometimes I think the down stream effects/consequences of slabbing (the chasing of dollars and the highest grade possible) is the worst thing that could have happened to our hobby.

    I sometimes see items on ebay UK from sellers who won't ship to the U.S. It would be nice to set up a reciprocal relationship with boardies over there. I was able to set that up with a boardie in England but he hasn't been on the boards in a while.

    Without seeing pictures of these it's impossible to decide. Eye appeal matters to me. I've seen some ugly 9.4s and some pristine looking 9.0s
