  1. Here then are scans of five more of my Adventure Comics: Sorry about the poor quality of my most recent scans though. Up until a year ago last September I had a Dell Vostro 1720 laptop with a Vista Business operating system and a Dell V105 copier/printer with which I was getting scans that captured the full magnificence of my comics. Then when my Dell laptop died just over a year ago, I replaced it with a Hewlett Packard Envy laptop with a Windows 8.1 operating system. For three or four months thereafter I was getting scans with the same resolution and brightness but slightly smaller in size. Then my Dell V105 copier decided it no longer wanted to continue mating with my new Hewlett Packard laptop. I therefore replaced it with a new Hewlett Packard 1513 copier/printer. My scans are now back to full size but I've lost brightness!
  2. So I was viewing my favourite Halloween videos again today: When Cowboy took advantage of the opportunity and raided my Halloween stash! Villain! I chased him away of course but I then had to spend a few minutes taking inventory.
  3. Lana Wood was an actress with a really gorgeous kitty. Such a gorgeous pair!
  4. I'm concerned about Porcupine48 and Comics General. How is he going to save this forum from itself if he's abandoned this thread he started to save it?
  5. So my sources tell me All Hallow's Eve is only hours away. Everything is in readiness here. The front porch has been fully desecrated: That's Tabitha from down the street communing in fellowship with a kindred spirit raven. The kids' Halloween bags have been prepared: Boys Girls Older Kids But the real fun tonight will begin after we take care of the little tricksters! I never fly coach. It's first class for me all the way! Happy Halloween to one and all!

  7. Glad you like them! Here then are scans of five more Legion covers from my collection:
  8. Oh, man, it's just like high school, the pretty girls get all the attention! You think?
  9. Yay! The WOMAN bought the Halloween cake already! Maybe if I eat it really quickly before Halloween she'll end up buying another one!
  10. Let's compare flaws. Here's a scan of my copy: My buddy's older brother had a dog-eared copy, and for years thereafter the name Antonino Rocca had a magical connotation for me right up there with that of Buddy Rogers.
  11. Here are scans of five more of the Legion covers from my collection: Northland copy
  12. Oh man, they're slaying me! Steelcity, tth2 and Silver are posting so many great comics that I'm drooling on my keyboard.
  13. Thank you! A very good summation indeed, and very useful to many of us other board members as well.
  14. I want that 312! So do I! It was my first Legion comic as a kid but it's completely eluded my searching these last fifteen years or so. I want your #311 as well though! That's been equally elusive.
  15. Who's the blond girl holding Supes's hands?? No wonder Lana's mad. Zynthia of Xanthu, Star Boy's girlfriend. You see Superboy had got wind of Lana's inane plot to make him jealous so he turned the tables on her for a laugh.
  16. Wise. The Mort Weisinger comics weren't fetching nearly as much as the Julius Schwartz ones at that time. Here are scans of five more of my Adventure Comics with Legion covers:
  17. No Wonder Girl, no Teen Titans. Case closed. Here's a scan of my copy of Brave and the Bold 60:
  18. No, sadly not that one. I'd actually be content with just having a #267.
