  9. Amazing! Kid Colt Outlaw and the Two-Gun Kid always did seem like two peas in a pod to me, but you'd think the colourist would at least make the background a different colour the second time around. Here are two more DC covers that remind me of each other.
  10. From these comic book ads? I've always wondered how easy this stuff was for a kid to sell. How did it go for you? Did you make much money and/or earn cool prizes selling them? Were the cards easier to sell than the seeds? Where did you live at the time?

  12. Don't worry. They're just harmless decorating ideas. I wish I'd read some of those romance comics as a kid though. It would have left me with a far better understanding of women later on in life.

  14. Since there's no hard and fast line stylistically that would mark the end of the Silver Age in Batman, I'd say that the curtain came down on the Silver Age with issue #212 which was the last twelve cent issue. Here are scans of two more of my late Silver Age Batman comics:
  15. The reason #13 went for that high a price is because it was the best issue ever. It says so right on the cover. You got that right. Ebay is where the roaches dwell. Hopefully the buffoons with the ridiculous listings are reading our editorial comments.
