  1. That's a fabulous copy! And so tough to find in that kind of condition. (thumbs u
  2. Here are some more pictures of my board games. First my Lost in Space board game: Here are my Marvel super hero themed board games: Here are a couple of my other superhero board games. First the Superman one: Second, a Transogram game with a great theme but annoyingly ill executed: Pictured on the cover are the Fly, Captain Flag, the Shield, Black Hood and Flygirl. They all look fine, but why was Captain Flag, who had a grand total of only one additional appearance in comics since Blue Ribbon Comics ceased publication in 1942, chosen instead of the Jaguar who not only had his own comic in the early sixties but had ongoing appearances in Pep and Laugh? And why was his name given an extra "g" on the character list at the bottom of the box? Worse yet, who were the Hood, Mr. Fox, Mr. Jag and Mr. Steel? Now Archie had characters named Black Hood, the Fox, the Jaguar and Steel Sterling but not the the Hood, Mr. Fox, Mr. Jag and Mr. Steel. The people at Transogram and Archie Publications were very careless indeed when they brought this game to market. Here are some good pictures of my Casper board game: My Terrytoons game: My Tom and Jerry game: And my Howdy Doody board game:
  3. Who could possibly not appreciate Curt Swan?
  4. Those are nice ones! Here are scans of five of my Detective Comics from later in the Silver Age:
  5. Wow! That one is almost as pretty as Oakland's sweep of the Texas Rangers this week! That's a nice copy of an Action I don't have yet. (thumbs u I bought this one from Harley Yee a couple of weeks ago: It's now the earliest in my Action Comics collection.
  6. Not me! It's Gorgo who's the king! So do I! And in general I like to acquire the harder to find titles, especially when they're relatively overlooked as well.
  7. Here are some scans of a title featuring another top feline: 1 2 3
  8. You bet! Captain America's finest moment! (thumbs u
  9. I bought this one from Harley Yee a couple of weeks ago: It's now the earliest in my collection of Action Comics.

  11. Here are scans of five more of my early Lanterns: Northland copy Northland copy
  12. Here are scans of five more of my Brave & the Bold comics: Northland copy
  13. I had succeeded in acquiring #134 and #135 as back issues when I was a kid but I never got my hands on a #133 at the time so that I always regarded that issue as very exotic.
  14. Poor Robespierre! No cat deserves such treatment. Worse yet, Robespierre seems to be a very sadly forgotten feline comic character. Here's another forgotten one out of the mists of a distant era: 13 17
  15. I'd like to get a few Green Lantern comics toward the end of the Golden Age run.
  16. I've found the #127 to be tough. that's a head scratcher. there's a boatload in 9.4. seemed like heritage had one in about 6 auctions in a row a year or so ago. That then may be the problem right there. They're all being slabbed to keep them out of my hands. I remember that just over five years a bunch of 9.2 and 9.4 Flashes from the 1960-62 period went for absolutely staggering prices on Heritage. Perhaps they were the highest graded copies at the time. For what have 9.4 Flash 127s sold more recently?
  17. How can you tell if a book is pressed or looks flat from a straight on, 2 dimensional scan? Good eyes and leftover 3-D glasses from the movies.
