Those cross publisher examples are too cool! Now every eleven year old knows that girls are here to stay, but they're not be completely trusted. After all, they just might turn on you at any time: And if the girls can revolt, why not the pets? And the pets do indeed have a legitimate grievance. They were after all never allowed in the Legion proper in the first place. They were shunted off into some subsidiary organization:

That's one of the Superman comics I need to add to my collection before my quest is complete! I like this progression of covers. First Batwoman on her bike: Then Bat-Mite is added; Then Batwoman is replaced by Bat-Hound and a Batwoman sign:

The Trickster was intoduced in Flash 113: So 29 issues and three years and seven months later Carmine Infantino decided to recycle his own cover: I mean who would notice the swipe? Anybody reading Flash in 1960 had now gone on to burying his face in titty mags, right?

To be absolutely precise, I think issues 2 - 22 are the toughest ones to find. The #1 had a higher print run and like most first issues, was also more likely to be hoarded and thus preserved. The reason the issues from #23 and upward are more common is that they were still available as back issues when Warren's Creepy hit the newstands and Creepy created many new fans of the monster magazine genre hungry for even more monster reading!
