  1. Five more of my Mystery in Space comics: Northland copy
  2. My three Rocky and His Fiendish Friends Giants:
  3. Come on folks! There's gotta be more drug store soda fountains still around somewhere. Here's an article I just found: https://toronto.citynews.ca/2023/04/19/long-after-heyday-soda-fountain-pharmacies-still-got-fizz/ Has anybody checked out either of the Green Line Apothecaries in Rhode Island?
  4. I just love the comics you bought around 75 years ago. It doesn't need to go beyond that. Whether CGC "recognizes" your comics with a pedigree designation is superfluous to me.
  5. Five more of my Felix the Cat comics:
  6. Here are my covers featuring Captain Boomerang:
  7. Five more of my House of Secrets comics:
  8. Here are four more of my Adventures of the Fly comics: 27 28 29 30
  9. Here are some more of my Charlton Blue Beetle comics: 1 2 4 5
  10. We taped some crows to the railing for Halloween but they were so popular with the kids and cats that we left them there.
  11. Oh wow! Alfred Fago's Atomic Mouse. Too cool!
  12. Hmmmm. So what about all the comic "enthusiasts" here in the Modern Age forum trying to determine whether some 9.8 comic from 2001 could be resubmitted with a view to being relabelled as a 9.9? Are you with 'em or agin 'em?
  13. Me I'm never with the overwhelming majority, i.e. the unwashed masses. I prefer to be with the few, the proud! But consider. It doesn't matter how expensive and sophisticated your overall stereo happens to be. If your stylus is crummy (even just badly worn), the sound you get is going to be lousy.
  14. The poor girl looks fuzzy to me.
  15. I don't care how much the storage capacity in megapixels, resolution, or whatever has increased due to increases in processing speed and overall improvements in digital technology. Good photography is all about the lens. The lenses in cell phones don't compare to those in dedicated cameras of even marginal quality.
  16. What the hell? Doesn't FedEx guaranty overnight delivery? Isn't that why customers are willing to pay the premium prices they charge? Don't let the bastiches off the hook!
  17. Well I hope he's not using his phone to take pictures! When it comes to pictures, it's all about the lens and the only place you can get good ones is in a dedicated camera. I second that suggestion for comics. But like I say the worst alternative is taking pictures with your phone.
