All of these are from a fifty-plus year private collection from Atlanta , Georgia. The Dan Adkins Silver Surfer is a black and white commissioned painting. It is one of the finest examples of the Surfer from Dan Adkins that I have ever seen. The Batman page is a beautiful piece by the highly underrated Irv Novick. He worked side-by-side with some of the greats. The Ian Miller Lord of the Rings piece is not a convention sketch. It is a concept piece for Ralph Bakshi's 1978 movie. Ian Miller worked uncredited on the movie because he was British and did not have the proper working papers. A CGC 3.5 Young Romance #1 sold on ebay a couple of days ago for $1400. I know this question is subjective, but- How would you figure the approximate value a CGC graded 5.5 of the same issue. I checked GPAnalysis and it appears that a 5.5 has never come to market. Thanks in advance for your replies.

Thanks to the OP for starting this topic. I've really enjoyed checking out the great talent here. If anyone here resides in the southeastern USA, there's a pretty cool venue in Georgia where a lot of creators display all kinds of amazing artwork like the stuff seen on this thread. At the last show there was a lot of comic book character art, Americana art, Pop art, etc. It was a lot of fun! I revised this post to let everyone know that last night I added a Superman George Tuska Vince Colletta Superman daily to my listings on ebay. I feel like I started it at a fair price. FYI for the young folks- Tuska and Colletta have both passed away. They were both involved in the early formative years of comic books, Golden thru Bronze and beyond. They worked side by side with all the greats. This would be a nice starter piece of these artists to add to your collection if you don't already have one.
