Best is the ASM 129. No exciting purchase story. I saved up and purchased on eBay. Favorite is the Supergirl LOSH 23. I have three copies. 9.8, 9.6, NM raw. I collect Adam Hughes books. He really knows how to draw an asteroid.

Yep. Not good. I have seen a couple people refer to a comic they are selling as yummy. I get the same feeling seeing that as when I say the word moist.

Love it! Classic book with two of the O.G.’s. VALIANT will always be special to me. VH1 and Dinesh era VEI meant more than just comics to me. Also, VALIANT fans are a loyal and good group of people.

This year I will scale back my weekly pull. I will also stop chasing after rare graded modern variants. No more statues either. My goal is to get at least one grail book that I have never owned. My top two are Avengers 4 or IH 181 CGC 9.0 or higher. Its gonna be a hard choice between the two once I have enough funny money saved.

Cap is my guy so this was a must have for me.

1964. Not super old. Hopefully I can pick up some GA cap one day to become my oldest slabbed book. This one will be replaced soon whenever I get an Avengers 4.

Thanks for the welcome. I definitely got back in before the VALIANT pre-movie price hikes. I have made some good deals here and there on Marvel/DC but just like most people I have probably over-paid on some books that I "need."

Hello. I have been lurking on the boards for awhile but decided to start posting this week. I collected comics from about 1990 till 1995. During that time I focused mainly on VALIANT with some Marvel/DC sprinkled in. I sold my collection once I hit high school. Girls and sports took over. My daughter was born in 2012 and I figured it would be cool to start buying her Star Wars toys. At that time I noticed a comic and vintage toy store opened near my home. I went in one day and immediately picked up where I left off. I haven't slowed down since then. I collect a little bit of everything comic related. My favorite is still VALIANT but I am also fond of Captain America, Wolverine, Spider-Man and any art by Adam Hughes. I am currently putting a run together of ASM keys. Slabbed of course.

Worst- I know this is beating a dead horse but it makes me laugh every time I see it. Best- I love Kirby but Alex Ross is a master.

Love the wall! Here is my setup. I agree that it is hard to pick which cover goes up. I rotate constantly to keep it fresh. Mine right now is mostly Artgerm.

This is my first commission. I am a VALIANT lover so getting a drawing by David Lapham was so cool. He is one of the originals!

Supergirl and the legion of superheroes 23 is my favorite cover of all time so that would be my first pick. Second would be any original VALIANT cover by Barry Windsor Smith.
