Adventures of Robin Hood (1948) Belgium re-release by Jiel The film is one of my all time favorite films. What when ever it's shown at the local vintage films theatre I go to see it. Great example of a foreign movie poster of a US release. This and the X-9 I agonized over in picking the 5th Best of entry for 2021. 2. Secret Agent X-9 pitch piece by Eduardo Barreto Another piece that almost got in my best of for 2021. I saw this on a blog for a guy who worked with Eduardo. This was just before Eduardo died. 3. Best of 2021 starts now!!!! The "Best Of" competition provides CAF Collector's the opportunity to highlight their 5 most important acquisitions from the prior year. After the submission period ends, CAF's community votes on the artworks that they feel are the most compelling from the seven possible categories and once the voting period closes we tally the results to see which artworks are awarded the Best of 2021. There are no real awards at this time - only the prestige of being recognized by your peers. Maybe one day there will be! 13. YA but Vorhees is more fun and not such an ahole
  14. The re-animated corpse of Richard Rae is back to haunt new unsuspecting OA collectors.
  15. WOW! Wonder what my inked prelim to Son of Origins by Romita Sr would go for?
  16. I bought one piece an unpublished cove which I thought was a great price. Not a series I read but characters well known to all. I sold one piece. There were a number of pieces that tempted me but tend to be more selective these days. I did commission one artist, same one I commissioned last ComicArtLive. Never got a response on the price earlier this year. Maybe will be a response this time. All in all a fun con, piece I got I really like, the previous CAL I got a coverI had been coveting from a collectors gallery for years.

  18. There is some debate about who the artist is for a Buck Rogers strip I own. I purchased years ago as a Calkins. I know his drew the daily strip at the start then came back when Nowlan the writer died and took it over until 1947 when Anderson drew it for a year. Would like some feedback on who people think the artist is Some say Yager but his 50s dailies look completely different.
  19. I think they overreacted, the PC police seem to be in high gear.
