  1. I am one step closer to my goal of putting Uncanny X-Men #308, Jean Grey proposes to Scott Summers. Back in November two pages from this issue appeared on ebay. I bid strong on both but won one and under bidder on the other. Fast forward and I am contacted by the winner, there is something else he is after and needs to raise funds so he offers the page I lost out on to me. We did the deal and tha page has arrived!!!! Now down to one page.

  4. T-Shirt back image by Tom Grummett of Evil Raven. For the New Titan #100 issue, Graphitti Designs produced a t-shirt with Evil Ravel image on the back and New Titans on the front both drawn by Grummett. Too bad I do not own the art for the front of the shirt.

  6. In 2017 the only 70MM print of The Thing was on tour across the country. The Hollywood Theatre in Portland commissioned Dan Brereton to paint a poster for The Thing showings at the theatre. Here is the original, Dan did a great job.
  7. Not the cover but this image was the corner box and appeared on the first 100 issues of the original series. Wonder what this would fetch.
  8. Couldn't believe the prices for today, saturday is usually the lower end artwork. Early Garfields for $3K to $6K Avengers #50 all by Buscema for $7800
  9. Ya I wonder how much money Heritage is really getting in these signature auctions? Or is everyone paying to big ticket items with more art for later auctions.
  10. Its a really nice page but not in the top ten of the panel pages from the six issue story arc.
  11. Is $120K the most paid for a piece of comic art from an 80's independent publisher (not counting Crumb and underground art)?
  12. Most of the artwork going for high prices are major publishers Marvel and DC and. comic art related. I am amazing that a Spy vs Spy two part Antonio Prohias when for $9600. Most go for around $3K and this is a slightly later one 4 years after the first one was published.
  13. Only in an auction. A number of the pages sit in dealers sites for 1/3 what they then go for in HA.
  14. Two years ago on HA another X-Men #154 page went for 20% that price and it was a nice all Storm action page. Crazy.
  15. Crazy prices a Devil Dinosaur Kirby panel page went for $7500.
  16. Lobo #2 splash went for just under $16K with the price of the cover yesterday I expected more.

Murphy Anderson Buck Rogers daily strip 2-16 ('48 or '49) $2200 Murphy only worked on the strip for about two years. Very few of his originals exist. Artwork cut between 1st and 2nd panel doesn't touch the artwork. Taped together. 3. Buck Rogers daily strip 1945 (#89) by Calkins $2000 All three characters Buck, Wilma and Huer Published on September 28, 1945 D043 – "Time Retracto Swindle" (6/20/45 to 10/13/45) (Series IX, Strips 99 to 102; Series X, Strips 1 to 96) Artwork cut between each panel doesn't touch the artwork. Taped together.
