  1. Post a pic! I have a 9.8 and a 10.0 myself and have seen a 0.5 Brittle, not seen a Qualified yet.
  2. The notes say that the finger bend(s) break color, so a press will not remedy that. There is a very high likelihood that this will return 6.5 again. Unless you have cash to burn, I do not suggest paying to press this. You'd just be buying an expensive lottery ticket. There's also a chance that, even after the press, it grades lower. I agree 100% here. I would not risk cracking that with the notes showing breaking color on each of the defects listed you are just going to most likely waste the money to press and regrade. Could you luck out and get higher, sure, but as stated you could also lose out and get lower. And the difference (per GoCollect) is only $100 from 6.5 to 7.0 on the 181, $500 from 6.5 to 7.5, and down $250 from 6.5 to 6.0. So just do as much research as you can. Also that might not be ALL the issues causing the grade drop. Either way you go, good luck and absolutely amazing book!
  3. I am always available for a hug if you or anyone else needs one.
  4. Then if you did Express tier, it is expected at 15 business days total from the date it shows received. If you submitted it yourself and have access you can track it that way. It can be faster, it can be slower. Good luck with your submission!
  5. Finally, someone gets it... Oh I get it, but I am still going to debate and disagree if I so deem appropriate. Free will is a glorious thing.
  6. To me that is all opinion. And honestly what authority does anyone have to disagree with you about anything? None, except to have discussion.
  7. Any entity/company that encapsulates and grades books that people purchase and resell, they hope for profit, would be considered an authority. Otherwise they would not be in business. Each of the major grading companies have the power to administer their grades, encase the books, and have their own followings. So while you may disagree with it, yes even PGX is an authority. CGC is accountable for Newton Rings and with the proper process will help someone resolve the issue by reholdering the book. Unfortunately they have not found a way to resolve the underlying issue, that doesn't mean they are not trying or unaccountable for it.
  8. Express pressing only shows it taking 10 business days for that according to this link to the CGC site: https://www.cgccomics.com/submit/services-fees/ccs/ when you click on CCS at that link it shows you, and it'll also show how fast your CGC grading tier is estimated....... While someone might have the same pressing tier to update this thread for you, one of that caliber hasn't posted in a while SO 10 days is just for pressing, what grading tier? did you pick? for a $400 comic I assume you picked, Economy tier, which itself is at 23 business dayshttps://www.cgccomics.com/submit/services-fees/cgc/ , only at 11 business days with fast-track.... so at most 33 business days, or 6 and a half weeks, remember CGC will take off for the 4th of July Pressing tiers do not change with grading tiers. Express goes with Express, Modern with Modern, etc. Granted after pressing CGC can bump it if you have selected the incorrect tier. So if it was sent in with the Express tier with pressing, it would currently be 10 business days for pressing and 5 business days for grading. Not sure why you would spend that much on a $400 book unless you are hoping the press will bump it up above the $400 and $1k value of the Economy and Standard tiers.
  9. Just got my most recent submission back, right after getting in my most recent shipping box as well. Was hoping for a 0.5 sticker but was pleasantly surprised when it was a 10.0 sticker instead!
  10. It really depends on the scarcity of the book and the overall cost. If it was for my PC, and I had the means, then I would go for the Universal in every instance. Otherwise I have no issue with CT, so long as it was not done for nefarious reasons. But that is the issue, how is one to know if it was nefarious or not?
  11. Are you going to get it pressed? If not in the 8.5/9.0 range due to spine roll and none color breaking spine tick, also the upper left corner looks a little blunted. With a press I would say in the 9.2/9.4 range, that corner really is the only worry I have with keeping it from being higher. Maybe even a 9.6.
  12. Or maybe that is just the sound of his tiny feet, trying to open a bazillion pouches, or...... breathing in when you have the chest size of a mastodon... Can you please elucidate as I am a bit confused since I am not sure who you are talking about here:

  14. Liefeld was a schmuck before disowning CGC.
  15. Just announced, one shot - Negan Lives! https://www.skybound.com/comics/the-walking-dead/negan-lives-1-robert-kirkman-charlie-adlard?fbclid=IwAR2Ef3TXHtLKMu9FScoNgLxluZEcI6T2x8bc7KKbUAiRvdgN3-3fcJLA-1k
  16. Glad to hear you are "better" and hope you continue to improve! Keep the updates rolling and what sort of comic nerds would we be if we didn't like details!
  17. Sounds like you should resub yours and press it
  18. I am going to agree with the 2.0 range. Still a beauty!
  19. It is on its way back. Will post the actual slab once I have it. But for those that were interested. And @ADAMANTIUM You were so wrong sir, so so wrong. I absolutely had it pressed, being a bagged book it was a necessity imo.
  20. I agree. It is definitely a tough situation and unfortunately impossible to prove now. I feel bad for the OP.
  21. 2 Modern Fast Tracked with Pressing - Delivered to CGC - 5/6 Received by CCS - 5/6 Received by CGC - 6/8 SFG (and clickable) - 6/15 Grading/QC - 6/15 Shipped/Imaged - 6/16 Initial TATs were 40 business days on CCS and 11 business days on CGC, estimated shipping was 7/20. This is done more than a month ahead of when I expected it to be. Granted current TATs are 8 and 30, but even with that it would have put this another 2 weeks at least. And I am extremely happy with the grades. One of them can be notoriously tough due to being bagged initially (UF #4) and the other I bought from a shop like 10 years ago (ASM #252).
  22. I'd go with the Doctor Doom followed up by the 1st Wolvie.
