  1. I would be if I was Ryan with the winning census WD set 2 years in a row. The Deluxe is a new daunting task ahead of him to get in 9.8-10 grades. Although I am looking forward to the Deluxe myself so I can collect from issue #1, which I didn't do originally. This time if the series cancels after issue #1, we know it will be my fault. Now the real question is, #foilfever?
  2. It was a freebie but from what I understood lots of the orders were cancelled. Leaving few shops actually with it to give out, it shot up to $50-$75 pretty quickly the week it released for free.
  3. Verification from CGC debate squashed yay!
  4. I agree it is an unusual situation. 🙂
  5. If that is true then ASM 252 would be the sole 1st appearance of Black Suit Spider-Man. It was in stores at least a week before MTU 141 (late January compared to early/mid Feb of 1984). But it is still highly debated and CGC still uses the indica for its labels that states "Ties with Marvel Team-Up 141, for 1st black costume." So the concern is that because the indica on the FCBD Spider-man and Venom that no matter the fact it came out a week after it will still be labeled incorrectly and fought over that it is the "true" 1st appearance.
  6. That is the 1st cover appearance. No refuting that.
  7. That is my opinion too, my concern is the indica of the FCBD being May where Venom 26 is Sept. My understanding is CGC uses indica pretty heavily so this might turn into another ASM 252 vs MTU 141 vs SSM 90 situation. All thanks to the book being intended for release so long ago but not done until now.
  8. So having a "debate" with a buddy over what will end up being considered Virus' 1st appearance. The issue is that Venom 25 is a cameo, between 25 and 26 was supposed to be Free Comic Book Day, but that was changed to Free Comic Book Summer. 26 released on July 15t that has now been deemed the 1st appearance but the FCBD issue, released July 22nd, being out this week and since the issue was likely already printed the indica shows a May release. FCBD Indica Page Venom 26 Indica Thoughts?
  9. I am guessing they are expecting people to check the main signings page that gets updated from cgccomics.com or be on social media. It is a lot of work to organize and manage, this singular thread is likely not something they are really watching to be fair. (I don't all that often just as an example)
  10. Depends on who the signature is and the cost but yeah I might be your huckleberry.
  11. I am not going to go for cover fever, just the normal cover "A" for each will satisfy my needs. I mean I did start WD on my pull list when I bought 192. So did I kill the series?
  12. I didn't see them outright say the Ruby Foils were in either mystery boxes. But of course it is a cash grab and it is also something that WD fans have been asking for for years. I am honestly excited, I missed out on nearly the entire run of WD, and I didn't but the trades, so this will give me a chance to get them issue by issue and it be new (even though I know how it "ends").
  13. 2 Modern Fast Tracked - Delivered to CGC - 7/6 Received by CGC - 7/10 (this is the longest it has taken thus far for them to receive in one of my submissions) SFG (and clickable) - 7/13 Grading/QC - 7/15 Shipped/Imaged - 7/17 TAT when it was received was 13 business days, actual TAT from date it was received in the system was 5 business days. Again both books are coming back and are right on where I was hoping they would be (9.8) but they very easily could have been 9.4/9.6, so I am pleased.
  14. I believe they do not link them since so many are created and never get submitted. So until it is actually in CGC's hands and entered into their system onsite it will not reflect on your account. This is also why they do not cap the remark limits at the 100 from invoice creation but instead from the 100 received. (they have a buffer so that those still in transit have a chance to still get theirs) Otherwise 1 person could "order" 100 remarks and never actually send anything and then nobody else could get them, the artist would then be out that money that was expected for that time and effort on their part.
  15. He is on the page before as well and in #559 also. Haven't checked beyond that. Glad I could help.
  16. Believe it was revealed (later on) he is the hooded man at the end of the book? It is a cameo only. Recommend checking out Key Collector, that is what it says at least.
  17. Thanks @Buzzetta for all the work you did getting all this info put together.
