If you are grading to keep for protective purposes, then maybe. Only if you are ok with it being a Green label as the signature was unwitnessed and would not be considered authentic for CGC grading purposes. If you are grading in hopes to sell, then no.

I think you risk damaging the true integrity of your grail by trying to remove the sticker. I would ask myself "does the sticker make it any less of a grail to me?" If the answer to that question is yes, then maybe look into selling that one off or attempting to trade it for another copy.

From what the ebay rep conveyed they are going to investigate to see how long the seller has been doing this bait and switch and either shut down their ability to sell on Ebay completely or impose some sort of sanctions limiting their selling ability. What that limitation entails I am unsure. Either way buyer beware of that one for sure. I have reviewed their negatives and a few positives and it seems it is this seller's modus operandi.

Need a VP? I am all for "off with their hands" punishment. No reform for the crooks!

I will add that I agree to be careful of this seller. I recently won a couple auctions from this seller, while waiting on combined shipping (which they advertise offering), they cancelled one of the two auctions. No notice whatsoever. I reached out to them and never received a response. I went ahead and requested they cancel the other item also, they did without any response and immediately relisted it. I no longer wanted to do business with this seller after this. Fast forward 24hrs, I received an email that an item I was interested in had been relisted, low and behold there was the item they cancelled that I had won (as well as a couple other items that I lost out on that they must have done the same with). It now had a Buy It Now and was nearly $100 more than what I won the auction for. Pretty shady practice to have seller's remorse because you didn't get as much as you felt you could. And since I had not payed for either auction, I could not leave any feedback. I contacted Ebay to let them know about this seller and what they had done. They are opening an investigation on them.

This might be due to CGC using only the Month/Year of the book, which all three ASM 252, MTU 141 and PPSSM 90 are cover dated from May 1984.

Silver Age will not fit the Damned book. I have Silver Age Top Loaders already and Damned is too large for it. It is a Magazine sized book.

Not sure what the CCS TAT was then, the current is 70 business days, which would put from received to estimated completion of just pressing sometime in early July. I don't think the submission page changes for CCS status only CGC, someone correct me if I am wrong there.

You can also use Magazine Top Loaders along with bags and boards. I would recommend getting it graded and slabbed though.

They have the camera(s) but I would think an alarm system would have been step numero uno. Even the smaller shops I went to back home all had alarm systems. From the video the guy was in there for 20 minutes. He had essentially all the time in the world to clean out those showcases. Stuff just isn't lining up to this story imo.

For a long time I thought it was too, even when I bought ASM 252 it was not marketed as 1st black suit. But then the shop I bought it from was a card shop that had not dealt in comics in about a decade.

I would assume it is revenue lost because the store was closed due to the break in.
