Silver Age will not fit the Damned book. I have Silver Age Top Loaders already and Damned is too large for it. It is a Magazine sized book.

Tis the same toploader, your link is just direct from BCW and a 10-pack. I didn't need 10 and was fine with the price when I needed it.

Not sure what the CCS TAT was then, the current is 70 business days, which would put from received to estimated completion of just pressing sometime in early July. I don't think the submission page changes for CCS status only CGC, someone correct me if I am wrong there.

You can also use Magazine Top Loaders along with bags and boards. I would recommend getting it graded and slabbed though.

They have the camera(s) but I would think an alarm system would have been step numero uno. Even the smaller shops I went to back home all had alarm systems. From the video the guy was in there for 20 minutes. He had essentially all the time in the world to clean out those showcases. Stuff just isn't lining up to this story imo.

For a long time I thought it was too, even when I bought ASM 252 it was not marketed as 1st black suit. But then the shop I bought it from was a card shop that had not dealt in comics in about a decade.

I would assume it is revenue lost because the store was closed due to the break in.

Yeah I am in now way defending MHC and their stupidly high prices, just giving another reason why they "might" have given higher than normal, maybe? You are correct for sure there. Maybe they wanted to high super grand theft?

What he quoted could have been based on what the police wanted him to quote. When I worked retail we had a guy snatch and run with about $400 worth of console games. He literally just grabbed as many as he could from the shelf in the plastic alarm cases and ran out the front door. Once the cops got there they wanted us to inflate the prices to make it grand theft. We wouldn't but it is what they wanted to make it a larger charge and harder to get out of for the guy. In the end the guy was homeless and living under the steps of our warehouse. Was sad really.

Based on the video the crook knew exactly where and what he was planning to take. And knew where the cleaning supplies were. Sounds like an inside job to me, maybe a disgruntled ex-employee or even current employee? They got a fairly decent shot of his face too, not too smart if'n you ask me.

Based on date it hit the newstands/comic shop ASM #252 is the 1st appearance, January 31st 1984. Followed by Marvel Team-Up and Spectacular Spider-man, both on Feb 14th, 1984. Secret Wars #8 is the origin story but didn't hit newstands/comic shops until August 28th, 1984. Glad they pulled you back in. I am more a fan of the older covers, but the new ones are definitely beautiful, albeit plentiful.

Just imagine Hulk on cocaine...... And this would have made the Dave Chappelle Rick James episode about the Murphys and James "feud" so much more interesting. "What the 5 fingers say to the face" would have killed Charlie Murphy....
