I think it is telling in itself that @Key Collector Comics is on here and willing to discuss anything. @RockMyAmadeus thank you for your constructive comments and for the links to the evidence that gives the proof needed to hopefully end the 252 debate (glad I own that one already and have for awhile). Apps are not easy to develop and produce, if he is doing this all on his own and for $20 a year, honestly it doesn't surprise me he would not have anyone other than himself as staff. Unless it suddenly takes off he will likely be unable to afford to hire a data editor and will likely rely on the good graces of people like us to give him recommendations on not only errors we find but on what we would like to see his app do. He would then have to weigh the time it would take to develop those changes on what he already has slated in his road map.

While I agree with 1 is too many while in the care of CGC. Outside of their control is another story entirely. With that, the images provided are painful to look at. I certainly hope you get some sort of relief for what has happened to those books @DaveSFU

My recommendation is to PM him about any issues you find with the app. I did with an issue I found and he immediately fixed it. All I did was present him with the information I had and he cleared it up. Now ASM 252 is a little different being such a highly debated hot topic. But I still think if you come to him with your facts in order and proper supporting evidence, then he will be rational. @Key Collector Comics The app looks nice, not 100% sure I will use it very often or sub but I will at least give it some more time in the future when I can. I do not believe any of the auction houses slab them, they will likely rely on the seller to do that before it comes up to the block for sale. As @csaag mentioned you will have the option before slabbing the books to have them pressed, depending on the condition and age of the book it could definitely help you with selling them. If you want to do more you can also take some good pictures of them and post them up on the "Hey Buddy, Spare a Grade?" forum. The only issue I can see with this is that "A great read!" is subjective, who determines that is a great read, what one person thinks is great another might think is garbage. Where "key" status shouldn't be. Maybe if they allowed for some sort of voting and you could see the results similar to what some comic shops to like "voted march 2019 best story" or something along those lines. Then they are taking their customer's opinions and utilizing it to benefit everyone.

The one slab I have cracked thus far this was by far the worst part of the whole process. Still have nightmares.

To be fair any journey is exhausting. And to put into perspective, you don't have to have a high thread count to be a "member" of the forum. I consider myself a member and have already made some "friends" here imo as well. All of that since joining in December of last year and with a fifth of the post count that you have ran up since Feb.
