ComicConnect auction:
28 5.0, 29 7.5, 31 6.0, 36 8.0
Heritage:
37 7.5
Anyone got 350k to spare
OMG.
29 in 7.5...? I think I need a new pair of pants.

Yeesh. Gotta be so careful as a buyer these days. Used to be that CGC offered this security to the buyer. Now CGC is a tool for "validating" an upgrade
-
I wonder if the sale price will be disclosed.
I doubt it

and I just sold my 5.0 for far north of that, so the 6.0 should be juicierAlso, a 4.5 sold for 86k on CC IIRC.So for the 6.0, I would say no problem.
wow, going to be interesting to watch.
I would like to see what a comparable TEC 29 goes for.
That Tec 31 is beautiful, but Tec 29 is my pet book. Given a choice, I'd rather drop 100k+ on a Tec 29 7.0 or higher.

Nice book, but the scribble on the front kills it for me

Very nice books indeed.

strangerI'm up to date with the floppies, and I plan to re-read the whole series in one go as soon as the final issue is out. It's been a while. I got #34 yesterday and I have the first four hardbacks. Sad to see it go, but Matt has another #1 coming out that's like an epilogue and a new series coming out next year called "Department H" I think. I'm in.
Hi Ryan! Yes, the issue 1 "New MGMT" is actually the final issue (issue 36) of Mind MGMT.
And...I hear an important character dies in issue 35. Ugh.
-
(thumbs uI'm with you Court. Figured I'd find a quiet spot in the house the weekend the last issue hits the stands and just read from beginning to end. Then go out for some Thai food.

So...the contents of the book are real (original to 1939), or...did this book simply never exist at all...?
-
I still have my Atari2600 (+ about 100 carts) floating around somewhere. Should dig them out and give them a ride again. Yars Revenge and Missile Command FTW!
-
Odyssey 200. A bit clunky, but some great games!
-
Yeah, I don't understand the problem here. The book is graded a married/trimmed 0.1 anyway. How much lower can you go...?!?
-
Definitely the same book.
-
I absolutely love the Cap cover. Never seen that before, but would be so proud to own that book. It always amazes me that something like that can make it through QC!
-
I just settled up on my variant covers for issue 7, so it's definitely right around the corner.
-
You'd think the image would be available since they just sold it a few months ago!

yupper
Perhaps just a non-payer?
-J.
That was my thought.

Think this is much more likely.
-
Agreed. That 37 is a stunner, but I think I am more impressed by the 28. Love it!
-
I haven't seen that Three Musketeers movie in probably 20 years, so not sure how it would hold up for me today, but I remember feeling the same way about it at the time.
-
yup. I thought the $1200 was already strong but someone will pay more since it's wrapped in shiny hard plastic
it sold here raw for $1200. I'm going to guess $2500 topsDoes anyone have an inkling on what the FMV of something like this might be ?http://www.ebay.com/itm/141692232229?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

For a torn out front cover ? Stupid money.
Shut up! Just...shut up! You had me at, "SHINY!"". (thumbs u

Holy . That went for 850 bucks.
Are you saying that's high or low..?

One other note: Jason will be attending Heroes Con in a few weeks, and is offering two full-size commission requests to be delivered at the show (so a very quick turnaround time on these two requests). You do NOT need to be in attendance to sign up - I can pick them up from Jason at the show and ship to anyone that is unable to attend. Prices are posted on the site HERE . Just send me a PM if you might be interested.
Thanks, Court

I was thinking the same thing. Almost 10,000 rabid Facebook fans, and the print run seems to be as high as it's ever been. Not to mention - the RQ party at ECCC was so crowded that they will have to look for a bigger venue next year. How is that for "buzz"...?

Well, there's a 7.5 (Billy Wright) that sold on HA awhile back.
Also curious about the Billy Wright 7.0 that sold on HA the same year (since only one 7.0 is currently on the census, and we know Bunky has a 7.0). Maybe the 7.0 was re-subbed and got a bump to 7.5?
