You were right, small tear and slight impact indent at that spot that can be seen on the last couple pages, thus the 7.0 seems a better grade for it.

I don’t know that your comments were negative but I get the skepticism! Either way whether it works great, or is 90% effective or even 50% effective it would be neat to see!

Rather than dump on the experiment couldn’t we just acknowledge how interesting it is? And if someone wants to tackle that and share the results, how is that a bad thing? I am intrigued and think the machine deserves a shot. If it can correctly predict grades within a certain degree of accuracy, why would that not be helpful as a base pre screen tool? Obviously the interior would need to be complete and devoid of certain flaws but it’s a starting point. I will send scans of my ASM 300 as soon as it’s back from CGC!

I agree that ASM Annual 16 has definitive staying power as I believe they want her, Captain Marvel and eventually will introduce Kamela Khan as part of a trio of Captain Marvels to be used in a film sometime down the line. At the very least a passing of the torch will occur. As for other books with staying power from Wandavision? I think the last episode might allow for 1 mayyybbee 2 more to retain some value. But even a book like FF94 I feel will go from being a book people paid $300-500 in higher grade, down to a more respectable $100 or so.

Wandavision has caused more books than ever to spike I feel. First Mephisto, first Grim Reaper, first Agatha Harkness, first Wonder Man, first Nexus, first Modred, first Chthon, first Immortus, first Monica Rambeau, first Darkhold, first Wandas kids, first Arcanna, first SWORD, first White Vision. All books that you could have had in decent shape for maybe $500-700 if you tried to buy them all. Now? Insanity that people are paying what they are for some of these. Who are these people? Are they thinking they are getting the next big book? Do they not realize in the month or two after Wandavision, more than half those books are gonna plummet hard? Do they see Agatha Harkness and think “oh lord yes my favourite character of all time FINALLY getting her dues!” Or am I the one missing out 😳

Thanks for the replying all! I’m curious if a 5.0-5.5 is possible with a press? My concern would be the top staple which is a bit loose and I would hate to see it pop out in a press. If it had a shot at a 5.0 I would def get graded. I would hope for a 4.5 but I understand a 4.0 also. This one may make the cut for my second ever submission

I’m gonna throw this out there...what if we have seen Mephisto and what if they have cast that character as a female? Would the response be positive or negative?

My only issue at this point with the show is Agatha as a villain. It’s a departure from character and I hope there is more to her tale. As for questions left from earlier, I guess knowing why Hayward faked footage of Wanda destroying their lab would be good to know. What’s his worry or concern in all this?

Agree it has been great but I think I got caught up in thinking a huge reveal was coming but I don’t know that will happen. I feel we get Wanda and Agatha battling and White Vision comes in to add a wrinkle (although what Hayward wants now seems unclear). Wanda perhaps unleashes more power that causes a rift in the multiverse or something to that effect, thus requiring Dr Strange to fix or help in his film. And maybe just maybe it will cause less rampant speculation next MCU show because this one was ludicrous. I will be very happy if SS3 comes down to earth a bit as it’s a book I waited far too long to acquire and right now I refuse to buy at these prices!
