  1. ususal advice is to figure out replacement value for the books should something happen to them while CGC has them You could try to find raw sales for books in comparable shape on eBay or try a site like comicpriceguide.com or the Overstreet guide If you pick a tier that doesn't reflect the ultimate FMV, CGC may bump the book up to what they think is the proper tier
  2. Inxure it for replacement value if you needed to buy the comic in similar shape (raw) Gocollect/GPA are for graded comics
  3. you can make multiple bricks - say split it into 4 or 5 bricks
  4. for the PGM forum, try to take pics with the comic out of the bag. If you have a scanner, that's even better for front/back cover
  5. Pretty much what I thought. I enjoyed it but that easily could've been a Steve Rogers Captain America story. I prefer the stories where "What If" makes a difference in some meaningful way, not just a shuffling of characters.
  6. bringing in funds & subscriptions to Disney+ also helps the stock price which curr reacts strongly to Disney+ subscriber info. Dot he executives who make decisions about how to release movies have some type of bonus tied to the stock price?
  7. well does your copy have Tatooz? There is also a diff between slabbed prices vs raw prices when determining FMV
  8. 3) you should try to group your books by submission tier level. Cgc will take whatever you send them and separate them into orders based on the submission tier level. Each tier gets mailed back to you separately.

  10. I'll add Monty Python and the Holy Grail for a movie and the early seasons of Married with Children for a tv series
  11. I'll 2nd that. Seems to happen constantly around this time frame
  12. Back during my collecting days, it was Neal Adams George Perez Bernie Wrightson Frank Miller John Byrne
  13. Not only should the buyer hold onto any receipts, cancelled check etc, but the seller should remember that if the IRS audits a buyer and he shows them proof of purchase, they may decide to check if the seller declared the proceeds,(receipts could show the sellers name, email addr etc)
  14. Hopefully the geniuses at Blackstone can implement something as full of common sense as this idea.
  15. Hmm it premiers on my wedding anniversary so this may be a challenge to watch it the second it's released.....
  16. I think "The Raid:Redemption" was the perfect action flick (too good to just call a martial arts action flick) They should've added another 10 stories to that building so the movie could go on another couple of hours
  17. I signed up for Disney + a few months ago before the price hike and the plan was to sequentially go thru Mandalorian/Wanda/Falcon/Loki Still going thru Mando due to all the things taking up my time, but this I will watch the second they release it.
  18. Close Encounters of the 3rd Kind broke the mold as far as aliens not trying to mutilate us. Great effects with excellent actors
  19. You should look at raws close to the condition of yours. A stabbed comic will sell higher but this will give u a base to apply a multiple to
  20. I always thought "Toy Story" was a 'perfect film'. Maybe movies about bringing adults back to their childhood are easier to pull off since it seems it's something we're so willing to indulge ourselves in. I thought it was a movie that worked on all levels. The CGI needs to be held to the era - they certainly didn't do human faces all that well but it didn't take me out of the story and maybe they realized it as they weren't shown all that much
  21. CGC uses USPS Registered Mail (if you select USPS) which requires the package to get logged in every step of the way. It does take longer due to that With Covid, I don't know how reliable getting a signature upon delivery is though
