I have 1,2,4,5 at present and will for sure buy 6 and 9. I haven't read #3 in 20 years - worth buying? I just want the keys and the better stories. I remember being not that impressed with 7,8,and 10 from a reading POV To me #3 is worth owning for the cover alone. its not the classic 1,2,4,and 5 are but it's still early FF goodness. 7 & 8 are definitely goofy. 10 is goofy too but i loved it. Great early doom appearance as he switches bodies with mister fantastic.

It looks as if you were a bit rough with it during the de-slabbing. - i did crack it open but the other copy is a restored midgrade - sorry i didn't make that perfectly clear. It's an old photo must have wanted to show off both copies for some reason. dont know why because the raw copy has both bottom and right edges trimmed! Well on the bright side I didn't get burnt on that book and dont have much in it unlike the 7.0 blue witch i paid a nice premium on cause it was so sharp looking.

Yup! Last winters signature auction......set a new GPA record and its worth it. Might be a 7.5 on a recert but i am completely sure it would not score less than 7.0. Might be the nicest CGC 7.0 i have ever seen which i think is very unusual for SA keys which tend to be borderline overgrades IMO!

this sweet copy arrived from heritage this week.

much nicer than the first copy of x-men #1 i owned! Mine was a 1.0 that i had restored by matt nelson. when he first sent it to me it looked awful as the color touch was poorly done. i sent it back and told him it looked like an old lady with too much make-up on! About a month later nelson returned it to me looking much better but it was this book that taught me a lesson about extensively restored books!

Trying to resist buying early hero JIM's in high grade! Wanted to buy r1970d's JIM 87 the other day but i kind of decided i was just going for upper mid grades to keep the price down. Lots of those great kirby covers in the early run make it tough! one thing that makes it easier for me to resist is the stories. i got a copy of #88 which is my favorite early JIM cover but the story was so goofy i almost couldn't read it! Can anyone suggest an early JIM with a great story?

Kudos to namisgr for some sweet marvel gems strictly & accurately graded + speedy shipment! 3 raw high grades( one 8.5 & two 9.0's) and he nailed all three books IMO. top notch!

spidey 20 is my favorite spidey 3 a close second love most of the early covers by ditko. Love the cover to #1 spidey 39 & 122 rank up there as well!
