USD of course.  Just assume everything I say is non-Canada.  Only Canadian things I recognize are Wayne Gretzky, Pamela Anderson, maple syrup, Canadian Bacon, and Tie Domilol

***He's basically Wolverine on a pair of skates

I pretty much agree with everything you just said

    Just to make it interesting...

If it reaches $10K by 06/10/21...I will PayPal you the amount to purchase two movie tickets to see the upcoming Venom movie ($28:popcorn:).  Bring back up this post if I forget.

***Must post pic of ticket stubs afterwards

Is that 10k USD or CDN?

Looks like someone is going to see the new venom movie....on their Cineplex App cus, well sadly there is no such things as movie theaters in Canada.....nothing is open:sorry:

  5. So since we have seen the difference between OW/W vs W, or Special Venom label vs Regular label, when are bindary defect 9.8s going to start selling for less then crisp spine no bindary defects, because the Bindary defect is notorious with this book, does someone want to pay 10k for a 9.8 with a bindary defect?

Isn't the contents of a comic book more important than the grade? I am getting tired of seeing comics on Ebay and elsewhere that are graded a 9.8 or higher on sale for at least $1000 and they are of absolutely no importance whatsoever. You are just paying for the grade of a nothing special comic. Is this what CGC intended? Next time I set up for a show, should I just have blank 9.8, 9.9, and 10 slabs on my wall and sell them for $1000 a pop because the comic is not important.

I would much rather buy a mid grade first appearence or origin issue than a nothing 9.8 comic.

    What do you all think?

    Different strokes for different folks

Some collect for the contents, some collect for investment purposes....the true value of something is what someone will pay for it.

Great book.  Have over a dozen copies, but as I mentioned approximately 5 weeks ago, the 9.8's already jumped the shark.  Latest sale = $3050 yesterday on ebay.  Personally, I think the 9.2's - 9.6's have increased during this same time to the point where 9.8's warrant a second look in terms of being relatively affordable now and I think we'll soon be seeing another bump back to the $4K range.  Get them while you can :foryou:

    I just may

I was hoping they'd let you submit posters for the SS events. Like, an Avengers poster with the actors who played Vision, Wanda, Loki, etc.. would be awesome.

    But, no.

    Yes...that would make sense

If they made a biopic of Monalisa would it make sense for the actress portraying her to sign the painting?

I get it, there is way more copies of a comic book, but still.....
