Got this the other day and posted it in General, but not here. I've been looking for an attractive, reasonably priced copy for quite some time, and this one fits the bill.
Nice eye appeal on that book. I traded a NM- white paged copy of TTA 35 for a copy of that book back in 1995 to Showcase New England. The Action came back from CGC as a 7.0 and I sold it for a big loss a few years ago. Probably the worst comic deal I ever made. Congrats on getting a nice copy!

Here's a few more Wonderworlds, just for the fun of it.
Those Wonderworld comics have some of the greatest cover images. I was at a family gathering and I was showing people those covers and no one cared! Am I alone here with those kind of non-reactions? I mean, I can appreciate what other people collect. Art, guns, coins, toys, etc. but I cannot understand the lack of appreciation by non collectors for some of those truly great cover images. All I ever get are value questions.Drives me mad.
How much is that Wonderworld 7 worth?

Billy , that cover is really cool.
thank you sir, and here are the rest of the cheslers [with her included down toward the bottom].
Now that's impressive! Quite an accomplishment to aquire a set like that. Any pedigrees in there other than the "D" copy?

Here is a comic I've been looking for at a good price with the right eye appeal. Now it's in my collection after all these years
Great book. I tried to win the one in the last Heritage auction but it went sky high. Congratulations.

The only other one I've ever seen since I started collecting the Gerber cover covers in 2003/2004 was on eBay with a detached cover and amateur resto as I recall and it still went for something like $200. It's like the Rocket 3 where I've only seen one other and it was in worse shape (a Rocket 3 on eBay in Poor sold for more than I could pay at the time). Is that HIT 11 as rare as it seems? Haven't actually went after one, but that bear cover is great!I always like an excuse to show this book off. Picked it up a long time ago and feel very fortunate to have it.

If that's unrestored and you'd like to, you know, unload the heavy burden that book must be on your collection, feel free to let me know.
It is unrestored, but I could never burden someone with such a thing.

Seeing all of those together really makes for a beautiful display and makes me want to start looking for some of those books. I only have one duck book.

Though a 2.5 technically, it's one hell of a nice looking G+ if I do say so myself!
A very sharp looking copy with great color. I really like the cover art too.

A couple of my newest acquisitions ...
The Amazing Adventures 4 is one of my favorite 50's covers. Great artwork inside too. Where did you get such a nice copy? The colors are outstanding.

A few books I got back from CGC this past week...
Detroit trolley
Nice book Richard. I missed out on that copy when Marnin had it.

This book has such a 50's feel to me. I love the painterly clouds with the bright cityscape in the background and the nostalgic feeling Superboy is expressing in his thoughts.

I was going to post this in the "Confessions of a Crack Addict" thread, but figured Timely geeks would get more utils out of this than just a good ol' fashioned crackhead.
It was an absolute joy going through this book the other night after I freed it from its synthetic coffin to breathe a little. (Sorry Alan, I just couldn't wait.) It was like sipping a nice glass of scotch. Enjoy!:
If you've never seen it, this is what the Olshevsky/Chicago code looks like. It is usually about a third of the way in, on the inside margin:
I thought this was a really cool visual when I was flipping through this book:
Stunning copy. I love the way the light blue sky makes the rest of the colors pop off the book. Great pick up!!

Does 1951 count as Atomic Age? Here are some new acquisitions:
I'm not really into westerns, but those painted covers are awsome.

Thank you GE that is a great copy you got there. (thumbs u I never see the #55 around too often and I'm looking forward to cracking this one out of its shell.
that is a gorgeous book. now that we're talking d.c.'s, here's my d.c. collection in full formation. just stuck it over in group.
I like a lot of the cover selections you picked out. Really nice collection.

Here's a recent pick-up. Always loved this Frazetta cover... and I finally have one for myself. It's a beauty, ain't she?
Special thanks goes out CollectorsAssemble for sending it my way. Great service, great product!
I think I'll have that cigar now...
Awesome book! I saw Marnin's listing too late to grab that one and I already have the other ones he has listed. If you ever want to sell it for a profit, I would be interested.

My win from Bill Hughes' auction. Always loved this cover and am very pleased to have this copy. Was CGC 9.4 and freshly cracked.
