Thanks. I am very happy to finally get a nice copy.

The page quality looks exceptional. It's always nice to see some whiteness on the outer page edge of a GA book. What was the grade?
The book was graded 9.0 and it has bone white pages and amazing gloss.

Just got this book in from Heritage yesterday and finished cracking it out this afternoon. This has been high on my want list for a long time.

Very nice, simple cover. You have a great Wonderworld collection.

I'm learning that when when Inaflash posts something, it's usually worth clicking on. You've got some very cool books.
Thanks Jeff.

I just love this cover for so many reasons, the composition, color combinations and lack of word balloons. The scanner definately doesn't capture the richness of the colors on this one. The purple on this cover is saturated and dark and the yellow is pure and bright.

Ken, that is a beauty! One question though. Is that a roll of quarters in Midnight's pocket?
I hope so.

If I got a slabbed 6.0 in the mail and it looked like that, I would krap myself. A perfect example of why technical grade should take a back seat to freshness, presentation and eye appeal. Luckily I am one of the few who sees things that way, which has allowed me to get a whole lot of nice books at a fraction of the "high grade" price.
Anyway, big kudos to Ken (Inaflash) for this one. Thanks a lot!
You're welcome. If I did not already have a copy of that book, I would have kept it myself.

Took me about 2 years to find a copy of this issue. But the wait was worth it!!! It is as if it was just bought off the stands!
What a great cover. I really like promotional comics as well. Any idea who did the cover art?

Cool cover. That's one of those books that I probably looked over in the Gerber Guide a bunch of times and never really paid attention to it, but when I see a full size scan as nice as this it really jumps out.

Can't let Danny carry all the weight in this thread. Just cracked this beauty out this morning. I bought it as a 7.0 in the last Comiclink auction and to me it looks like a solid 8.0.

This book is so nice I had to post it twice. It is in the Fiction House thread as well, but more people seem to look here. I wanted to say thank you to SACENTAUR for bringing this beauty to the Yorba Linda show and giving me a good deal on the book because he knew how much I love it. Thanks Steve!

Picked this absolutely stunning book up from our own SACENTAUR at the Yorba Linda show this weekend. Central Valley copy with white pages. Steve gave me a very good deal on the book because he knew how much I love it. Thanks Steve!

Actually, the colors on the book are a bit toned down. I have never seen another high grade copy, but I think they were printed that way, almost an Americana feel to it.

I guess this is technically early Silver, but I think the mid-to-late 1950's Wonder Woman books are so tough to find that I consider them late Gold instead. Here's a recent pick-up:
Love that book!

The Space Boob cover!
Never seen that cover before, but I can see why it's called that!
Beautiful looking book, Ken!
Thanks. It took me quite awhile to find a high grade copy.

Ok, Ok, these are incredible books from the time period, but lets be real here. Looking at tonights post after a long wait is like looking at 1950's porn. You don't want to look away, but it does hold a candle what you can see today. So my point is while these are awsome books, I and if everyone else was honest would say is bring on the major keys. Lets see that Tec 27, and some other sick Sh$t you have pilled in that amazing collection of yours. Bless you reguardless, and thanks, but bring out the good stuff. Quit serving your guests 2 buck Chuck! Just Kidding! Post what you want, I just love super hero books
Paul
I actually find these posts very refreshing and interesting to look at. These books rarely show up in high grade and they have great covers. I am just as curious to see his major keys, but lets face it, I know what the cover to Action 1 and Detective 27 look like almost like the back of my hand. I say show more of this obscure stuff!

I really like this cover a lot. Just the way the people are drawn with the crosshatched shadows and the overall composition really makes for a nice cover. Beautiful copy as well.

Nothing as Exciting and Thrilling came in the mail today but I did receive this. As always I like simple concept / poster covers -
Beautiful cover. Very colorful and bright copy of a book I don't see very often.

Nice to see another Recil Macon Detective. I bought this one back in 1990.
Oh my, that is very pretty, steel (I can see the white pages in the scan)
And the 1st Clayface, too...
STEVE

BZ,
Your collection is simply unreal. All of the cover colors are so bright, these books look like they have not seen the light of day since they were printed. Amazing stuff! Thanks for sharing.
