Since we're on Joker covers, here's my favorite:
Gorgeous book. Some of the Rockford's had nice pages like this one.

Both are really nice looking copies. Those are the type of books I would crack out and put into Mylars. Great pick up.

My first additions to this thread:
Sub-Mariner #1 CGC 6.0 (centre-fold detached):
MMC #27 CGC 6.5:
Beautiful copies. Are they restored? They look much better than 6.5.

One of my favorite grey tone covers.

Ay Carumba ! That is very nice
Would fit nicely in my Tales of the Unexpected run
I agree. Send me your run and I'll put this one with it.

Thanks. It usually takes me a long time to find what I'm looking for.

Nice book Andy
You've been coming up with some real cool ones
Thanks. Buying and selling has been really fun this year. Too bad it has to end in two months. I am going to go into overdrive from now until I go to school and try to pick up as much cool stuff as possible....and flip as much as possible to cover it.
You can flip the Headline 8 to me if you want.

Mmmmm. Red Covers!!!
And the artwork inside the #30, Food for Thought, is unbelievably good!
Yes, I was looking at that story tonight and it is amazing. Here's a book you don't see very often.

I love this Jack Davis cover.

Congratulations! There were several nice MIS copies in that same auction.
Adam,
You're faltering. You started this thread and I have to keep bumping it. Get on the ball and post something.

Ken, if your scanner is still shooting things a little dull, then the colors on this book must just explode. Very pretty!
The reds and yellows are pretty accurate but the green is washed out in the scan.

Well I miss my high grade BA stuff even less now This is a nice tradeoff:
One of my favorite MM covers. Very nice!

Anyway, if someone has an extra copy of that Fight in nice shape, I would love to pay them too much for it.
Over my old body, I get seniority rights over you for a Fight 32 which should go well with the copy of 33 I bought last night -
BINed on eBay from Chuck for $25 shipped while listed for $75 on MileHigh's site
I didn't just jinx myself.
Plus 143ksk has magnanimously agreed to let me buy his copy of # 24 (Bayonet for the Banzai Breed )
Not easy to carry around a 7' tall woman but worth it if you can find one.

Thanks. I'm sure if you have a copy the colors and gloss would be outstanding.

As usual with my scanner, the colors are not as bright and vibrant as they are on the actual book. This is one of my favorite Master Comics. I love the composition.

BTW, how's your little one?
Finally home, and very content...
Congratulations. I have a 2 1/2 year old son and it just keeps getting better and better.

an "issue" at the bottom of the spine/back cover, but overall a pretty nice unrestored off-white paged book
Is this one of the "Int" books that there was a thread started about?

Just in from Heritage:
Now I have to sell my undercopy. Gotta pay for the Clink Focused Auction bids somehow...
How the heck did I miss this book? I love that cover. Was that in one of their weekly auctions? Nice copy with great pages too. Congratulations.

Won this book in the last Heritage auction and could not be happier. I have searched for a high grade copy for years and have never seen one other than Adamstrange's copy. This book graded out at 8.0 but there is not a single stress line on the spine. The only wear at all on this book is along the top edge and it is very minor. Best 8.0 I have ever seen.

This one was top census before I cracked it out. You don't see this one come up for sale too often. Truly one of Cole's weirder covers (and that is saying something). I like how he snuck in that eyeball in the top right corner.
Nice looking book. All the books you show tend to have very nice eye appeal.

My only issue from this series but I would like more.

Thanks. I am very happy to finally get a nice copy.

Yes, slabs always make books look so much brighter and glossier. I think CGC should invent a double slab to increase the effect even more.
