  1. Purchased a PCH horror book from Jason. Nicely packed and a brand new mylar to boot. Looking forward to buy again.
  2. Were are you getting something with a high yield of 8-10%? I would like to know.
  3. You were absolutely right Kobra65. Definitely not the right time to sell the book. Hammer closed on the auction at $168,600. Far down from $204k. And even further down from when a 9.2 sold for $250k 9/4/21. I think that when they look back in a 10 years, someone got a steal at $168k. Good looking book.
  4. Hi everyone. Cleaning my closet, I’ve got a bunch of raws for sale. My feedback thread is here: I sell comic books on eBay including several books over $10k and have 2900+ feedback 100% positive. I'll take PayPal, Cashapp, Zelle, Personal checks, Venmo, or money orders. Shipping is via USPS priority with is $15. I mostly collect slabs so I honestly have no clue what to price these at. 42 books, how about $100?
  5. Moving to another venue. PM me if still interested.
  6. Goldin Auction 9.2 27 days to go. Didn't we see this same book a while ago with the white stains in the lower right corner? X-Men #1 (1963 Marvel) – CGC 9.2 – Origin and 1st Appearance of the X-Men (Professor X, Cyclops, Iceman, Angel, Beast, Marvel Girl) and Magneto on Goldin Auctions
  7. Hi everyone. I’ve got an Amazing Spider-Man 129 CGC 7.5 OW/WP for sale. My feedback thread is here: I sell comic books on eBay including several books over $10k and have 2900+ feedback 100% positive. I'll take PayPal for total sales under $1000 if PayPal is your preferred method. Personal checks, Venmo, or money orders for total sales $1000 or higher. 50+ references from private sales in past 12 months available. Shipping is via USPS priority with signature required and is included. Recent GPA sales in 7.5 grade were $2025, 2000, 2050 last month of July. Small scuff on back, I tried to remove sticker residue using acetone (never doing that again). Asking below GPA at $1900 shipped.
  8. Bought a JIM from Jeff at a good price and it arrived safely. Thanks!
  9. Great books as usual! On a side note, I read the son of the pharmacist’s book behind the “B”, and frankly it’s sucked because it mentioned comic books just once 😆
  10. Make sense now for sure. Great looking book!
  11. Curious, why did you restore it as opposed to just sending it in for a blue label? Did it look that bad before the restoration work? In terms of monetary value, the loss of a PLOD label + restoration cost would likely exceed the grade drop of a blue label.
  12. You state that you are not nit-picky, but I feel like you are being a bit too nit-picky. I've got plenty of slabs back from CGC and I would say the more often then none, slabs will have a few scuffs or even light scratches on a brand new slab. This is sadly somewhat normal. Recall that the main reason for encapsulation is protection, not visual clarity. Your comment "I do notice the book moves around a bit inside the holder." Well correct me if I wrong, but I believe the comic is somewhat supposed to do that. Say if the comic is completely fixed in place, well there would not be any give and the cover could tear upon movement. Seems contradictory but since there is some wiggle room, there is actually less chance of damaging the book.
  13. Fair negotiations, book arrived safely. I'm gonna check out Half Gringo's eBay store!
