  1. Bought a good looking Avengers 25 from Rube. Arrived packed nicely safe and sound.
  2. No one commenting on how sad it is to have to wait more than a year for books to come back??? Perhaps CGC should dial back the # of signature event series to work on more regular submissions.
  3. wow. Last sale back down to 2020 levels. As if 2021 didn't even exist. This book has fallen heavily. Might be the one book that actually that comes back to Earth and sinks into the ocean upon landing.
  4. Wow. Nice white cover on that 6.5!
  5. Playing devil's advocate here, but if you can get away with charging that commission and customers keep coming back, business better than ever, then why would you ever lower your fees?
  6. Send those "couple of ComicConnect bidders" my way please....I've got a whole collection to sell them!
  7. I've actually never purchased from ComicConnect or Heritage. To be honest, it is also because both claim that winning bids are "binding and enforceable legal contract". So just how strict are they? Have they ever come for a buyer's knees? From the sounds of what you said, I am guessing not?
  8. Ok, so this seems extremely fishy. Savage She-Hulk 1 is a common book in 9.8, 2500+ copies in the grade. Regularly sells for $600-700 on the bay. CC hammer hits at $2300???? I've seen Heritage do shenanigans, but CC?? WTH....
  9. So let me get this straight, the X-Men 1 9.6 sold for $872k + 20% buyers premium = $1,046,400 + Tax right?
  10. Technically though, this does make it a million dollar book with the buyers premium they paid: $872k + 20% buyers premium = $1,046,400 Or does that # already include the premium?
  11. Good looking copy as well. I'm surprised that it hasnt been holding value since Marvel is slowly letting out X-men tidbits like the last episdoe of She-Hulk which had a newpaper sidebar "Man with metal claws in bar brawl", But what goes up must come down. All major keys are dropping across the board. Could be a good time to pick up some books for a discount.
  12. Remind me to use you to write up my yearly review and I need words to justify my salary at work .
  13. Are all X-Men 101's newsstands? Correct me if wrong, I believe directs started in 1979?
  14. I've always wondered why that book is called and listed as Frankenstein. When it literally says "Monster of Frankenstein". That would be like CGC labelling "Night #32" for Werewolf by Night 32.
  15. Dreamer. Then again I sold this same book in 9.2 on 2/23/21 for a then record of $4499. Crazy how much 1 year can make a difference.
  16. Paid using a fee free method and Richard sent me books all the way from Canada packed really well.
