But are they really "super hot"? It looks like prices are dropping right now. Last 9.2 sold at $4100, down from 4600, 5500, 4945. Last 9.4 sold at $5100, down from 6435, 6999. Last 9.6 sold at $8400, down from 9942, 9600 More like super cold to me.

So I did a thing. Took my ASM 129 9.6 graded by the "Other guys that start with C" and sent it to CGC for the Gerry Conway signing and CCS for CPR. Either I made a terrific decision or terrible. What I can say, beside I'm a gambler?

Is that not the case everywhere? Go to a go-kart track, they make you sign a liability waiver Go to a trampoline park, they make you sign a liability waiver Go to a haunted house, they make you sign a liability waiver They all make you sign waivers, yet they are all packed with customers day in day out. Same with CGC, tens of thousands of books waiting to be graded. People ain't gonna stop using CGC as generally they get a good product back. If 1 person stops using CGC because they messed up their book, they won't even notice.

Sucks but that's the way the cookie crumbles. At least its not that valuable of a book. FYI, CGC literally puts that first thing when you submit: SUBMITTING FOR A SIGNING EVENT? There are 6 9.8's in the census. The Curator pedigree is legit. Very nice copies, including an X-Men 1 9.8, Avengers 1 9.4, ASM 1 9.6, etc.
