  1. Really fun haul for me, really love some Silver Age Batman first appearances. And another affordable Fawcette, why not.
  2. cool book, sorry about that. While I still stand by my claim that it's a production defect, I really don't like that the info was witheld hen you explicitly asked for anything of the sort. make a claim on e-bay and show them the communication. Should be an easy case for them to deal with.
  3. I get that, thanks for the insight. What I wonder is how much significance matters in stirring interest in a book. For instance, FF 6 is a very significant book, with that being the very first Marvel villain team up. But that book hasn't moved in 10 years and I'm not sure if it will ever become hot.
  4. Should we not count the fact that he got his own self titled series already in 1941?
  5. hard to take this seriously when the example you give does not at all match up with what you say, this card is from 2020 https://www.cgccomics.com/certlookup/3739616048/
  6. The max grade you can get with ink transfer is 9.4. That's not how it works. You look at your biggest defect and that becomes the grade you get. If a book is 7.0 without ink transfer, a similar looking book with ink transfer would still be 7.0. Your book is a 9.0-9.2 so the ink transfer changes nothing aside from visual appeal. And no, this staining cannot be cleaned.
  7. The cover could be real but it being reattached means it was messed with regardless and it would probably get a green label. I'd start hunting for a legit copy.
  8. That Ditko Strange is from Marvel Collectors' Item Classics 10.
  9. Hulk 1 is also redundant since he started out by having his own series when he was first introduced.
  10. Yes, as of right now it would be 11 BUSINESS DAYS from the day of submission until the day of it being sent back to you. So a little over 2 weeks.
  11. Yes, there is one important question for Marvel Silver and it is regarding the presence of a pinup. I wrote a list of the books to watch out for so if any interest you, ask the seller if the pin up is included. Aside from that i don't really feel the need to ask anything else especially since I buy raw from auctions like Heritage and I can always send the book back if they made a big mistake. I never buy marvel silver from local dealers or at shows, you'll always be on the losing end price wise. At least with auctions, I know I am getting market price.
  12. The recent epsiode was incredible, I love it as much as almost any MCU film (Infinity War will be hard to beat). The only thing that sucks is it seems Avengers 54 isn't moving much.
  13. As do I. For those, and the majority of my GA collection, I use archival "bags and boards" (like Mylites). They are as good if not better for archival purposes, make the colours really stand out, take up less space and (best of all) give me a chance to take the book out to look inside if ever I want. The book in the link was slabbed recently, it didn't stick around long in anyone's collection as a slabbed book. So my money is on someone making a mistake and not looking inside the book before sending it in.
