  1. Anybody watched this yet? I only saw about the first 15 minutes, haven't had time to go back.
  2. I find this thread fascinating. If I were in the position of wondering where my books where after a year, I would immediately call the store, get the invoice numbers and call CGC to find out the status of the books. That information would determine my next move. Waiting even longer for things to hopefully sort out seems patently bizarre.
  3. For 1092s and 1095s you have to; those aren't items generally stocked by local post offices.
  4. They must be really bad at it then. The asking price is in the range of a graded 3.5. It looks a lot better than a 3.5. Yup. I would buy ASM #129s like that at the seller's price all day long.
  5. Here’s a piece I treasure from one of my favorite artists. I got this months ago and not this week, but why fuss over details?
  6. Are the interior pages that brown or is it the result of the stain? Either way I’d call it a 4.0.
  7. Here is a thread about the person with whom you are corresponding:
  8. This is your cue to start an enduring, high-post thread! Maybe there’s more threads like this than in years past, but there’s also a lot less vital threads and a lot of our old-time and engaging posters have gotten quiet or left entirely. Which you know, of course. It could be worse. Take a gander across the street sometime….
  9. Just a little, grampa. I don’t see the need either, especially since this is yet another crazy Theo Holstein listing that somebody seems to point out once a month, but I just ignore it.
  10. Unless it was a shredded butt-rag, looks like somebody got a deal on the TOS #39. Same for X-Men #1, even if incomplete. Then there's other books, like $75 for ASM #62? Can't imagine it was HG based on the photos.
  11. Maybe he cut off his other thumb.
  12. I've been taping over those areas for years and have never had a problem. I don't feel confident enough to leave any windows; the tape keeps them from getting damaged.
  13. Haven't seen this chestnut in a while. Let's see if PB lets it appear:
  14. I dunno, I'm not crazy about changes like that. reminds me of when COI went to xBinXtr8x (or whatever it was). Or when MutantKeys changed to TunaXBushwick. COI was something like xxHBBHxx. The FuelMan <--> Forbushman I was OK with. Fuel to Forbush is one of the few that didn't bug me. Captain of Industry to COI was sort of in the middle. POV to GreatGooglyMoogly?
  15. I think your math is off. 50 years ago would be 1968. If you're looking for a 60 Years thread, it's here:
  16. I dunno, I'm not crazy about changes like that. reminds me of when COI went to xBinXtr8x (or whatever it was). Or when MutantKeys changed to TunaXBushwick.
  17. Yup, still some long-time members around. As you can see, Blowie is still Search King.
  18. He usually runs a large, full page color ad in Overstreet with address, phone and email.
  19. Be careful what you ask. He may "forget" the novocain. "Is it safe? Is it safe?"
