  1. Not the greatest copy, but it fits in the box for now.
  2. Just curious after seeing your post about the size of your collection. You said according to your app you had about 17,300 books, which is a *lot*. That's approaching 60 longboxes. The amount of runs you've completed seems really low for that many comics. Was the total possibly a typo or do you have thousands of random issues?
  3. I control humidity in my comic room with a dehumidifier. It takes care of all the books in the whole room, not just what would fit into a cabinet.
  4. You might find more responses in the Modern Forum: https://boards.cgccomics.com/forum/16-modern-age-comic-books/ or in the WTB Forum: https://boards.cgccomics.com/forum/50-comics-market-want-to-buy/
  5. Based on the Overstreet Price Guide, ebay current and sold listings for Spectre #10, the $10 price sticker is probably reasonably close to FMV, and I believe demand for that book and series is somewhat limited.
  6. it looked like a printing defect to me from the photos. I pulled out my copy to check and it has the same spot.
  7. I still need to read this one. Seems like a mismatch, with Zzzax originally being a Hulk villain.
  8. Man-Thing always seemed out of scale on the magazine covers, especially that one. As does the gator. Still a cool cover, it got me to pick up a copy back in the day.
  9. Even if Harley can be off, on those last two it looks like CGC was too harsh.
  10. 100% agree with this. I've had multiple copies of these issues over the years and the 5 shines much better than the 2. I'm curious if copies of 'ish 7 you've owned also reflected a healthy sheen ... This looks like a job for DiceX. But since he's not here I'll speculate the reason is the paper stock and/or sizing. My MTU #2 is also on the dull side.
  11. Hulk #153 is special to me as well. It was a few years later when I started buying off the rack, but it was an early book for me, a secondhand copy that I got from a friend along with #147. The Severin inks hit it out of the park. Finding a raw copy of #153 that I found suitable took a long time time. On a more pedantic note, there's no white ink on any of those books Mr. S., only cyan, yellow, magenta and black. Any white you see is the whiteness of the paper.
  12. I like this club even though I can't join!
