  1. Not a QC issue per se, but could be an encapsulation issue. Does the shape of the discolors look familiar?

  8. There are too many variables to have a definitive answer for your question. How skilled is the person doing the pressing? How long have the defects been present on the books? What era are the books from?
  9. Apparently, marking the boxes as having unlimited value books and high value books means they are opened or entered last.
  10. If that crease lays that flat…odds are it has already been pressed.
  11. Whoever you get make sure they are reputable and insured. Everyone who owns a press is the worlds greatest presser.
