  1. Be aware that that rusty staple could decide to snap into pieces if any attempt to add the missing wrap is attempted.
  2. It’s never good for the long term goals of a company, to have an adversarial relationship with their customers.
  3. Next up are 4 sketches. Some were done by Anthony Castrillo (board infamous). $100.00 each. Mark Kidwell "Abomination". Billy Tucci "Lizard". Castrillo Hulk 168 swipe Castrillo Red/Green Hulk cover.
  4. First up are three McFarlane slabs. All graded 9.6. $100.00 each (which is less than sig/grading fees). Marvel Tales 239 Spider-Man 1 Marvel Age 90
  5. Looking to clean up some closet space. I am going to try and move some books for less than I paid for them and if this goes well, I have a bunch of modern universal slabs that will follow suit. No one on any lists. The SS books were pressed, but not 100% sure of the pressing history on the sketches. Shipping is extra (around $15.00 with insurance), and I would be happy to combine to keep the shipping fees down. No returns on slabs, so ask questions upfront.
  6. Marvel Premiere 1 dropped to $650.00 Hulk 251 dropped to $275.00
  7. Marvel Premiere #1 CGC 9.4 White Pages $700 OBO Incredible Hulk #151 CGC 9.6 OW/W Pages SOLD $300.00 OBO
  8. Just two books for Sale Hulk 151 CGC 9.6 OW/W Pages SOLD Marvel Premiere #1 CGC 9.4 White Pages. Consider all books pressed. Shipping is a flat $15.00 No one on any lists, or if I have you on ignore. No returns on graded books, so please ask questions up front.
  9. A lot of the newer prestige(?) format books have high gloss paper, and many have either black or dark blue back covers. Even dragging a book like that across a table will cause light scuffing. I see this all the time on books like the Dark Knight, Batman: Harley Quinn, etc.
  10. Many square bound books have gnarly spines and CGC takes that into account when grading the book. Pressing May marginally make that better but it will also open up other problems. You would have to bleach out the tanning and dust shadow in order to improve the whiteness of the cover, which, when done, may garner a conserved grade.
  11. Here is a suggestion that should be included in each box (very similar to the form CGC requires when you drop off books). Type out on a piece of paper the following. 1. each invoice that is included in the box 2. each number of books per invoice. 3. a total of how many books are in the package. Place this at the very top (inside) of the box so it’s the first thing they see. At a minimum it is another checklist the employee opening the box can check the contents of the package against. Fool proof? No.
  12. The top left corner of the front cover looks suspect. Is it the lighting or is the green ink different above the 12 cents box?
  13. Since it appears to cast a shadow I would say it could be in between the wells. Looks like a small piece of paper of lint from clothing.
