  5. Was this sale legit or a hacked account? http://www.ebay.com/itm/Amazing-Fantasy-15-CGC-5-0-OW-Pages-Universal-Spider-Man-Marvel-/142372626265?hash=item212611df59%3Ag%3A9OcAAOSwhvFZC6SI&nma=true&si=%2Boqcg215bdiiBa7xfQnbLdFIXV4%3D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557
  6. Did you miss the infamous Steve Ditko/Jack Kirby PGX signature series thread? That company has zero credibility Someone please post the old thread link for some good laughs! Steve Ditko silver sharpie authenticated signature I seem to remember
  7. Thanks Mike!! Noticed your gorgeous 9.2 issue too! Think our books could be twins?
  8. My all-time favorite bronze age cover:
  9. Thank you!! Really like your 9.2 as well!
  10. Happy to finally join this illustrious club! Not a single stress mark on the spine, and the back cover has a unique and interesting date stamp that I think is quite cool
  11. Some more tightly graded Spidey's! Love the colors on those issues
  12. Beautiful books JP! Congrats on the new acquisition as well! You've got a great eye for those raws. Gorgeous eye appeal
  13. He actually seemed somewhat playful and open in these photos! Is there any known audio recording of Ditko speaking??
  14. So kav knew it wasn't a Ditko photo when he posted it and was messing with us. April Fools
  15. Thanks Unca Ben, I kind of figured
  16. I got a kick reading some of those letters. Mr. Ditko can be quite concise with his responses
  17. The truth may never be known. According to this New York Post article which includes a brief personal interaction with Ditko from 2012, it claims he never married or had children. Could be a grandniece as he did have two sisters and a brother. http://nypost.com/2012/07/03/the-secret-hero-of-spider-man/
  18. I saw and read that post as well. I guess it is him, but I thought Ditko had never married or had children. How could he have a granddaughter? Could there be another person also named Steve Ditko in New York? Just look like two different people to me...
  19. Are you saying no, this is not Ditko? I thought it was a gag at first, because it didn't really look like him. But the photo was taken at an angle. Here's an old pic of Ditko to compare. Now unless he's grown a lot of hair in old age, they look like different people to me
  20. Pulling my leg or is that really Ditko??
  21. I never realized what a complete recluse Ditko became. I don't believe a photo of him exists beyond the mid 1960's when he quit Marvel. If so, that's pretty remarkable. Surely someone must have taken a photo of him shopping or around town later in his life
  22. Awesome #28's everyone! A restored high grade copy just sold for $1525.00 http://www.ebay.com/itm/The-Amazing-Spider-Man-28-CGC-9-4-Apparent-NM-Slight-Restoration-/302261926977?_trksid=p2047675.l2557&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&nma=true&si=82aBb4S%2BHylymxUWk%2FeQ8CK9Eeg%3D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc
  23. Beautiful book ickwinzs! No need to reholder, you can remove the scratches with Meguiar's PlastX. It's a clear plastic cleaner and polisher. Works amazing, and I have used it on scratches such as this on my CGC cases with fantastic results!
