  2. So, ComicLink is selling a “Curt Swan” Jimmy Olsen splash. It’s certainly not Swan, but rather John Forte. Just thought anyone who is interested should be alerted to this tragic mistake.

  4. What’s your point? Lynn painted the Lone Wolf covers the same way as the DKR pages. And you would be wrong to say that the original line work for the Lone Wolf covers were drawn on vellum. At least half of the 12 were drawn on board.
  5. If I may reply…. these are the Wild West days, where everything and anything goes. In order for dealers to get new material, they must bend to the wishes of their consignors. The consignors will not leave a cent on the table if they think they can get away with it. Now of course, there are consignors who ask the opinion of the dealer to price the work, and possibly come to an agreement. but most of the time it’s the consignor who has the say.

  17. Add the covers for #120 and #144, which I owned back in 1977. Bought it for $100 at the San Diego con.
  18. Most, if not all the covers will show up in auction. Concerning SA Flash splashes, yes I know about those chapters. I also just last week, sold a Flash splash through my website.
  19. I know of 5 SA covers, including one I bought back in 1977, out in the wild. SA Flash covers are among the toughest originals to find. The last one was auctioned off in 2013. These days, anything good will go to auction before they get offered privately.
