  7. Good Morning All, With the comic art market exploding, pricing art these days has become a precipitous task, at best. I’ve been consigned a great piece of art, but I’ve decided to go an unusual route, at least for me. Yes......the auction route. I’m offering an exceptional, never before offered, fresh-to-market page from.... Amazing Spider-Man #109 page 7 from 1972. pencils and inks by John Romita Sr. with backgrounds by Tony Mortellaro. Simply, a great page, with Spider-Man and Dr. Strange in all 4 panels! Click HERE to see the art on my website! Current bid is $18,000 I will accept bids on this page until Friday June 25th at 6pm Eastern time. The Rules • All bidders will be notified via email of each bid as they come in. • No phone calls or emails asking me for a price to end the auction. I don’t play that game. • No trades or partial trades will be accepted. • Time payments might be accepted, as long as it is paid with 2 months with a 20% immediate deposit. • I reserve the right to refuse any bids, including the final bid If I feel the final bid is not satisfactory to me and the consignor. • Don’t make a bid if you don’t intend to pay. Send all bids or questions to either mitkowitz@hvc.rr.com or datartdealer@gmail.com Best, Mitch Itkowitz Graphic Collectibles
  8. I remember when I sold that for Giordano back in the 70s

  11. It’s the apocalypse! Herding cats would have been more entertaining than what I watched. I guess my and your definition of frenetic differ.
  12. Just watched 5 minutes of the recent show. Its like watching mushrooms grow.... Slow and boring, no excitement, no personality.
  13. That would be a no. S. Buscema floating head pages now command $1000+ with those guys.
  14. You’ll see hell freeze over before that happens.
  15. This is the New World Order. Collectors and especially dealers want more than the market will bare. Yes, mid level art now being priced at top level art. Funny to watch Dealers who are consigned art from collectors who ask too much, only sell maybe 10% before the collector consigns to the Auction houses. Once the Pandemic winds down, prices will fall and dealers will be stuck with lots of overpriced material. Even more so with another recession. The daily self-love fest of buying art from these online shows will wind down, since the same people buy each week or some dealers just don’t get it. M
