  1. Nice slabs, JDW. The 26-27 Snake Eyes origin is one of my favorite comic arcs of all time. I'm glad it's been getting more recognition this past year. IDW even reprinted it a while back.
  2. If you look at their other listings, they've done that with most of the comics, which are all Turtles books incidentally. I've never done a pressing, and don't completely understand it if I'm being honest, but certainly this book could use it.
  3. Yes, that's Hawk. And it's a great issue actually. The scene depicted there is the fight at the end in which Cobra Commander sneaks up behind them and contemplates whether to shoot Hawk or Destro. He chooses Hawk, shoots him several times, and the issue ends on a cliffhanger.
  4. I'm generally not much of a signature guy on my books, but holy moly, this is absolutely amazing. I had to chime in to tell you how much I love it.
  5. Gaaaaaahhhhhhh!!!!! How'd I miss this?! I only need 9 and 154 to complete the original Joe run. Sorry, but I'm going to sulk for a while.
  6. Yeah, but what gets you harder than a 9.8 white pager?
  7. No, thanks, probably not. But personally I've never been into Man-Thing, I've just been astonished at where the prices have gone on those 2 books while the Man Thing 1 still seems relatively reasonable by comparison. That was my point. And obviously he's much more of a niche character than anything in the X universe, but he is still a character who's had a ton of longevity and has decent potential to be a part of the whole Marvel-Disney universe in the future. That's why I feel that 3800 for a 9.8 isn't outrageous, and I wouldn't be surprised to see it go a bit higher in the future. I don't think the book is a sleeping giant necessarily, but perhaps it has been overlooked thus far and the market is beginning to adjust a bit. Or maybe this is just an anomaly and I'm overthinking it. Ha!
  8. The "like" is fine, but it doesn't convey what this post deserves. We need an "insightful" emoji.
  9. Honestly, considering what so many bronze keys are doing right now, 3800 seems reasonable for a 9.8 Man Thing 1. I realize it had been dormant for a while, but this seems like a case of it heating up for some reason. There was probably a rumor of a movie or streaming show or something. You know how these things go. But while I look at books like H181 and GSX1 in vexed befuddlement at where the current prices have gone, something like this feels more like a price correction to me. Definitely surprising it jumped so much in such a short time, but still, 3800 doesn't seem such an outrageous price to me.
  10. Excellent packaging, fast shipping, great guy to talk to, shall I go on? Dennis is the man!
  11. Bought a book from him earlier this week, and I'm already enjoying it. Fast shipping and packaged like a champ. Thanks, homie.
  12. If you happen to have anymore Joe books, I only need 9, 133 and 154 to finish my run. I also need 18 and 19 to complete the Special Missions set. Just throwing that out there in case you have a few more hiding. Ha! It's cool to see the Joes getting some love in your thread.
  13. I'll take the Predator 1 9.6.
  14. Isn't it generally at the discretion of the seller and/or buyer if they want to disclose the sale price? This isn't ebay after all.
