I was VERY happy to find this book. Andy

#2 is as tough as nails, incredibly scarce. I've only seen 1 copy in person and one on the Heritage auctions. It was the Bethlehem pedigree and I have been kicking myself ever since that auction for not bidding HIGH. (I believe that used to be part of Keith's collection). This is my 3rd copy of OAAW #3 so I don't feel it's so tough. I will be selling my lowest graded one once I compare with my current copies. The first 20 books are always the most exciting for me. Especially in Our Army At War and Star Spangled War Stories, you do not see many of these early issues as they are very tough to find. Andy

Here's 4 books that I just picked up at the Toronto ComicCon today. AAMOW #2 Didn't really need this one, but hard to pass up a good deal. AAMOW #4 Very hard to find from my experience. OAAW #3 Water damaged and low grade, but a tough book. GIC #98 I'm hoping this will grade out at a Fine +, but we'll see... Andy

Larry, to tell you the truth, I felt bad afterwards for asking for your reasons. Although your reasons were all valid, it was really none of my business. You wanted the book, you bought it, I really shouldn't question that. I'm sorry. In my opinion, it is my favourite book, and I'd agree with you being the 2nd most important DC war book out there. That can be argued, of course, but I share your opinion. The book has done nothing but go up for the last 3-4 years, and just in the last year and a half, it's starting to hit "crazy" prices. Perhaps, these prices really aren't as crazy as I'm thinking, not if everyone's willing to pay for them. The copy you bought earlier today looks a bit less than a VG, but I would've paid $300 for it as well, so I think that was a good pickup. This book is incredibly difficult to find in mid grade, so your snatching this other copy up may prove to be brilliant. As you say, only time will tell. From my experiences of buying raw and getting graded, I have been generally disappointed when sending this book. My Fine's turn into VG's and my VG's turn into G/VG's. I wish you nothing but the best if you decide to grade it, and congratulations to you for finding a nice copy. Andy

It looks like Moon Knight is on the cover, his name is on the cover, he's inside the book, but in someone's dream (or something like that). Some people say this isn't a Moon Knight appearance, as it's only a dream or an apparition of Moon Knight, others say it is Moon Knight. End. Of. Story. (I think) Andy
