  1. 7.0/7.5 with the caveat the yellow covers can hide some defects & the creasing is right in that area
  2. 2.0/2.5. A different book might get a 1.8, this one might get the higher of my range
  3. close-ups of the area with the missing staple would be useful. If it was made that way, not impact on grade but would get a qualified label stating the books was made without a staple. Looks around 8.0 otherwise.
  4. might get a 9.0 pressed. Almost looks like a crunch, which could be an issue if it goes through the inner wraps.
  5. less than 9.6, but NM depending on cleaning & how the grader feels that day.
  6. Yeah, 4.0/4.5. Even a light crease that long knocks it below anything with a fine in the grade.
  7. Seems like clear water damage & staining to me. Max 5.0 if pressed to take the rippling out
  8. 5.5/6.0. There's some gunk on the title. If that's staining, the lower grade.
  9. 5.5. More photos of the top edge to look for restoration. I could believe that the shadow on the inside is an illusion that looks like ink bleed through from color touching.
  10. 7.5/8.0 at best, but it would get a Qualified label. FMV will be less than the comparable book with a verified signature. Personally, I don't buy unverified signature books. I don't buy many slabbed signature books either b/c half the fun is the process of signing & grading. It looks like some of the verified Kirkman signatures, but you can never be absolutely sure.
  11. There are a decent number of graded copies on the census already FWIW. About 100 Universal & an equal number of Signatures. I assume almost all, if not all, of the signatures are from JL.
  12. Also, this one went to Marv Wolfman. It was supposed to arrive back in the store ~Thursday. Might get to pick it up next week.
  13. I can't say for certain that this is mine, but this popped up on CGC's IG stories during the Lee signing & it's signed exactly where we asked him to do it, so we'll see in 4-6 weeks (maybe longer as it seems like when the shop submits there can be a delay due to them sending in a lot more books at the same time). I'm dreaming of a sword-filled X-Mas....
  14. I left this one with my shop in the fall. The lines for Lee's signature at the two cons they went to were apparently prohibitive, so they sent it to the in-house signing.
  15. Dropped this one off for s***s & giggles if nothing else. Probably won't get c&p'd until after the holidays. I'm still waiting for magazines submitted last year about this time, so plenty of time to weigh in with more guesses.
