Hi Adamstrange, thank you ever so much for letting me know. Knew I would get definitive expert advice here:) I will try to see if there is a set for sale especially as 214's are still through the roof and might not come down....Thanks again :)

Having had both the prints and the comics, the prints were much more enjoyable to own. The only issue is that when I did rotate these on the wall, I had to have different size mattes cut to fit each print in the same frame.

@BFA1971 Please PM me if interested

I haven't posted in a few years, but its nice to see whats been going on in the SA DC books.  At today's prices, I would never be able to repeat what I did years ago by completing a full Showcase run.  Anyways, keep sharing your copies and info, as I really missed the board interactions from guys like Boba.

I hope Bob is well. We worked together and I got my first #4 from him. Even better, he helped me put together my honeymoon album for my wife many years ago. Great guy.

  3. My son is 16, the next generation of collector who will buy your comics in the future after he becomes a tiktok millionaire. He says to buy Archies and anything Spider-man. He is no longer into Tiny Titans, so avoid those. Same with Simpsons and Iron Man.

You may think I'm kidding on the Archies and Spidey. I'm not. Both are evergreen nostalgia, for any age.

as others have discussed here often, our next of kin will most likely sell them for the first offer of magic beans that comes along... So documenting the values and making plans for them FOR your heirs would be worth some effort and planning in this lifetime!..  I know this was a long time ago, and DC andothers were giving away artwork etc, but isn't it a bit strange that an employee would be selling company property? Or was the Comics Code owned by the seller?  Im sure theres no liability for you now, just asking how he was okay will selling the comics.

And has been told on these boards, not all the art was simply given away. Thankful that somehow AF15 ended up in the right hands before getting to the LOC.

For those that want to debate - here are the last seven CGC 3.0's that sold on Heritage.    Ignoring one Sept 2021 sale that was Blue Label but had a Stan Lee signature on the cover.    Without a doubt - the 10/10/21 copy is the best looking of the bunch with a nice date stamp too.    Also note that the 8th sale was 11/8/20 that went for $18k.    So it essentially doubled from Nov 20 to Oct 21.

Just noticed there is another 3.0 going up this week.

But this is cool. Thanks for putting it together.
