  1. You’re probably older than by me more than just a few years since I wasn’t born until the early 2000’s. I do remember Eastland Mall but I wasn’t into comic book collecting when that mall was still around, nor was I attending conventions.
  2. Outside of just attending a few local comic shows. My first actual convention was HeroesCon 2019.
  3. If you were to use the other grading company, then you could submit it and they would verify the signature.
  4. Here are the rules: 1) I will consider offers but first trumps all. 2) I accept payment via PayPal. 3) Shipping is $10 for raw books and $15 for slabs within the U.S. territories only, and $20 to Canada. International buyers, please inquire about shipping. 4) No probation or HOS boardies allowed. No returns on CGC graded books. SOLD!
  5. I wouldn’t suggest getting these graded just because they count as unwitnessed signatures. It would get a qualified label (green) with the notation of “name written on cover in marker.” I would assume it’s Chris Claremont’s signature.
  6. The first comic I sold was an Edge of Spider-Verse #2 for $75. I got it for $20 since it was in rough shape. I was happy with my first sale.
  7. Seeing these at the show was something I didn’t expect. It was my 1st time seeing an actual TEC #27 in person. What makes that particular copy special is that it’s Bob Kane’s file copy, which means he personally owned it. I thought the Whiz Comics #1 was cool. It’s an underrated book in my opinion.
  8. My Secret Wars #8 that was signed by Jim Shooter!
  9. Attended the show for both days and I can say I enjoyed it for what it was. Had a good amount of dealers and a solid artist alley. You could’ve gotten a ton of great deals on books there. I did so myself and I’m very happy with my purchases.
  10. Another pickup from Giant-Size Charlotte Mini-Con. It’s not on the same level as Hulk #1 but it’s good enough for me since I sold my last copy.
  11. I know I’m late to this but I really enjoyed S2 of Stargirl. Looking forward to S3!
  12. Amazing Spider-Man #101 is a key that’s very “blah” to me. I have 0 interest in Morbius. While his upcoming movie does look interesting, I’m just not interested in his comic counterpart. He’s just a vampire to me.
  13. It really wasn’t tough for me since it was the 2nd TEC #168 I owned. I’ll get around to obtaining another copy so I’m not too worried about it.
  14. Went to a con today. Took a few books to sell/trade. Ended up trading my TEC #168 for this Hulk #1. Definitely worth it.
  15. Congrats! Awesome book to own in any condition!
  16. Let me reiterate that sentence. While he didn’t exactly say that, he still said ASM #299 was considered Venom’s 1st appearance until different resources changed it to ASM #300.
