  1. Would be cool to get her to sign a #2 (first appearance) or #3 (is that her driving the van)?
  2. My girlfriend who works on Wall St just emailed me, and said "They are filming TMNT down here. Just saw Megan Fox".
  3. My favorite character is Casey Jones. Why is there a hello! on the golf club?
  4. Thanks turtle dudes, you are the best! Awesome ideas and suggestions.
  5. Great idea! However looking for something I can keep at home. Like, maybe if theres some tricks with cameras, or some kind of large inexpensive scanner.
  6. Can any of you turtle dudes that scan your CGC Magazine size issues (like tmnt 1-4) suggest an inexpensive scanning/picture solution? I try to take photos but there's always tons of glare and reflections! A scanner seems better, but an A3 size scanner goes for about $300+! Any tips/tricks/ideas/gizmos?
  7. Just like turtles? There's also this place - I think at least a couple guys on this thread contribute to this? http://gogreenmachine.org/ Anyone know any more?
  8. Really? What is the lowest you remember it going for? That seems like a steal, depending on how much you love turtles, or how much you love one of your arms or legs
  9. I miss the 80's dearly! I saw this just now, and my heart jumped: http://www.ebay.com/itm/TMNT-1-Original-Painted-Cover-Color-Separation-/360681399955?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item53fa496693 TMNT #1 Original Painted Cover Color Separation (Red plate for cover) If anyone here gets that, can I go to your house?
  10. K, will try to do so, but I put those books away into storage, hoping not to take them out anytime soon until maybe the movie. However, I know that by going through the CGC serials ending #1-7, info will show up. I think it is awesome that CGC lets you check on serial numbers now, I just discovered that a month or two ago myself. CGC rocks!!!
  11. Daaaaam, I was going to post, finally. Thanks maloney414! I guess I'm in? Glenn, you win for best #1 CGC SS I've seen yet!
  12. Thanks dudes, I look up to all of you. I check this forum thread every day because it always brings a smile to my face. Coincidentally, I also peed on myself a little (maybe a squirt?) when I saw my books back again with yellow labels. It's been a dream of mine for years. Now I need to decide... turtles, or house...what would a person do?
  13. You know us NJites get no love! Got to keep it in-state TMNT were almost 30 years ago! Makes me feel pretty old...
  14. Pretty sure this was before comic book bags were invented? I know I've seen a few of TMNT #1 (different printings) with the sticker on the back, DIRECTLY on the comic. Does anyone remember the stores that did that? I wonder if there are evil ninja turtles waiting in hell for them... what a great picture somebody made a whole extra quarter on that!
  15. Hey jaybuck43, Nice to see you're only about a mile away from me. I'm in downtown JC. I basically grew up in Hoboken, and went to school there from 5th to 12th grade. I spent plenty of my youth there, and that's where I used to bring my comic books to trade with my friends. About the selling question... I'll PM you soon, there might be a chance we can work something out.
  16. Here's a blast from the past, original comic book store sticker, on one of the first prints, a "well loved" copy. Can you see the original price behind it? Makes me wish I could go back in time
  17. Been waiting about 5 years for my books to get signed. Special thanks to Adam E, Rich H and Glenn G. I used to have 13 of these...but when times were rough I had to give them up First print, all signed Eastman and Laird!
  18. Nice! I don't know about you... but that is so old, and original, I'd be scared if it was on my wall! It's such an awesome relic - it is museum worthy!
  19. This image is pretty disturbing to me, can't put a finger on it, and don't think I want to
  20. Adam, that NYCC #3 9.8 makes my heart stop for a second. I had to pinch myself. Being signed on the front makes it 100 times more impressive! I live through your collection! I know I would never be able to come anywhere close in my lifetime, with any amount of money.
  21. I really hope they have costumes....this kind of shows that most of it (if not all ) will be CGI? If so...I feel old...and brokenhearted...
  22. Here's a pic of my copy. I wasn't 100% sure it was real, so I got it signed and checked out! Can I join the club?
  23. Thanks man! Here's another pic.You can make out a bit of the original art to the right, a HUGE stack of TMNT #1's waiting to get signed on the left, and even a bit of your leg The sign wasn't my idea, I was in shellshock, Kevin came up with the idea, sort of like Macgyver! I am so happy he was able to verify it!
  24. Came back from the double signing! Still in shock, Kevin is the coolest person in the world! I am so happy to have met the artists there. Steve Lavigne, and his store Shellback Artworks... so awesome, any turtle fan will love it there! It's basically like a small Disneyland for us Turtle lovers. Laird is so talented, I love these guys so much! And... I finally got my grail signed by both creators, now I can die happy!
  25. I'm interested in the filthy book, if anyone has an extra on hand to sell.
