  1. I huge thanks to @ashsaytr as the gifts are beautifully wrapped and a couple have significant girth.
  2. This was a year when, for the most part I reacquired books that I had let go of years ago. I originally traded for a copy of Flash 108 quite a few years ago. Then I sold it to a friend on the boards about 6 years ago. I instantly regretted it, and it took me several years to locate this copy. I had a beater copy of Strange Tales 73 a few years ago, and sold it. I cant say I instantly regretted it, but thanks to the folks in the Pre-Hero Marvel thread, my interest was re-ignited. I found this copy earlier this year, and it was a significant upgrade. Finally I ran across what has to be one of the best Robot covers I know of. Journey into Unknown Worlds #49 has a cover by Russ Heath whose better known for his Silver Age war book covers, but I'm glad he did the cover for this book.
  3. From Batman with the laughing out loud crown prince to the Joker gets the last laugh

In a few cases the book had no grade and I gave it my best estimate. About 6 books had wavy bags, those were replaced by brand new bags. 5. I picked up more G.A. this year than any other. I will lead off with two "barely G.A." books. I managed to find a few pulps in the wild. I also acquired a couple of issues of Star Spangled Comics Found Strange Adventures #18 after a 5 or 6 year search. and a Jumbo A few more pulps. 1935 1934 - the tiger grabbed my attention on this cover Fantastic Adventures 1949 1950 Finally a couple of books that made it through pressing and grading late this year.

  9. Thanks, I just jumped through all those hoops to find out my rank is 3108, but I have a nice round number of points with 2,222. No profile though, I prefer to be incognito.
  10. Recently back from CGC. I have owned this book for 6 or 7 years and finally submitted it earlier this year. I have been looking off and on over the years for a better copy, but no luck. Two copies have surfaced on Ebay recently, but this one looks like my keeper.
  11. A little research shows the movie is now slated to release in June of 2023. From the radio times "Fans had feared that a sequel wouldn't come into fruition after the first installment saw multiple director changes, -script rewrites and a string of allegations made against lead star Ezra Miller since the film was first announced in 2014. The sequel will go ahead if The Flash does well upon its release set for 23rd June 2023."
  12. Those pages in the Fu-Manchu book look like they just rolled off the press.
