  1. Only 24 on the census for this 1954 Atlas book. I do plan to submit this book for grading.
  2. Only 33 on the census, up from 29 about a year ago. An underappreciated book IMHO.
  3. This title is not exactly trash, but it doesn't seem to have generated much collector interest either. It's also a rare case where I have the entire run.
  4. Yes. I kind of did a double take myself.
  5. I don't have many last issues, but when I do it's trash.
  6. Very sharp copy. 9.0/9.2 for me after C&P.
  7. I would estimate 4.5, pretty book but for the tape.
  8. I'm going with 7.0 due to the tear, but wouldn't be surprised if it grades out a bit higher.
  9. 6.5/7.0 would be higher but for the dust shadow on the front cover.
  10. I just received a copy back of a book with a similar sized piece out. The piece is held in place with a bit of a post it note. Without the missing piece I had estimated the books grade at 5.0. It came back as a 3.5 with a slight C-1 designation. I'm in agreement with @grendelbo that 3.5 to 4.0 is the ceiling for your book after C&P.
  11. 9.2, looks like a hint of spine roll, so a press might be in order.
  12. 6.5 to 7.0, with the top of the front cover being the largest concern.
  13. I'm considering sending this book in for grading. The book has a slight spine roll. There are two areas of concern with some cover creases that do not break the color. The book has off-white pages. The book will need a press. What are your thoughts on the books grade once a press has been made. Thanks in advance for your comments.
  14. From the man without fear to the man with a lot to fear
  15. My final pulp pickup for 2021 is the August 1933 issue of Wonder Stories. I was drawn to this cover, as the idea that a space cruiser would need life boats showed that someone was thinking outside of the box quite early in the history of science fiction. The only "problem' is that this is a bed sheet issue, so I will have to obtain a sleeve of the right size to hold it. Paul was the illustrator for the cover and all interior drawings.
