  1. I think the rarity has kept it in the top 5 all these years. Interesting because not many copies are offered publicly as compared to Batman 1 or Supe 1. That says something about the popularity of those two books. Rarity aside, perhaps All Star 8 will pass AA16 one day...
  2. agreed. With all due respect to AA16, I'm happy to see it ranked in the back 10 as opposed to the top 5 GA in the OSPG.
  3. This is a pretty good ranking list overall. How about Marvel Mystery 4 (1st Subby cover) or 9 (1st Superhero battle) ?
  4. It was a great one day show that felt like you were back in a 1980s hotel con. The lighting was poor around the back walls of the show room. You needed a flashlight at SuperWorld, Metro, and Bob Storms booths. It was all comics and OA (two separate rooms) and serious buyers. No issues bumping into cosplayers. There was only one media presence, and that was for Carbo and Anthony’s weekly Selling Heroes show. It was great to see Loboagain, Pacific Rim Lance, Miller, CW, Danielle, Roy, Sacentaur, ciorac and several others. Special thanks to John D. of Torpedo comics for putting this together.

  6. perhaps a bit more with outstanding eye appeal.
  7. Yup. I've seen AF15s with 5-31-62 date stamps. Most Hulk 1s I've seen have been stamped between March 8-15th.
  8. GPA shows $2000 -$2400 range, but a 6.0 popped for $2750 last week. Impressive, blue chip book.
  9. yup, green CT near spine on the monster's arm and the 10 cent circle outlined in extra black ink. There's some black on the spine too. All look amatuer. 2.0 or 2.5 (A) plod.
  10. I gave it a B rating. It’s not terrible nor is it elite. Shades and Mariah get really annoying and old with each episode. I was really surprised to see ex-NFL RB Thomas Jones in season 2. I think he’s going to be in a few big screen movies down the road. Overall, I still look forward to seeing more episodes of Cage in the future.
  11. The FC overhang crinkling keeps it at a 4.0 - 4.5 range for me.
  12. Agreed. Although, as time passes, the 29 seems to gains more ground on the 31 in my eyes.
  13. Nice white pages and the blue cowl version. Congrats Tim.
  14. Nice new topic Jeff. Thanks for posting. It will be interesting to read the observations that are gained from this data.
  15. And on an FF1, I’d look for the tougher dark green monster with no creasing or scuffs inside of his mouth. Not easy to find that combination with what Jim mentioned already.
  16. The Bat 1 owners did mistakenly say the book was from 1938-39. The lady interviewing them couldn’t believe they were asking $175 for it
  17. Nice video. Thanks for posting it NerV. Even though they said it was missing a few wraps and the POFC, that Bat 1 would still run roughly $20K in today's market.
  18. Agreed. I like how the full word bubbles are not miswrapped.
