  6. This isn't even close. Subby and FF4 all the way and Hollywood doesn't change that with (aquaman) or without (Subby) a movie.
  7. it's only fitting that you keep posting in this thread's title steve contributed some of my favorite books To the collection.

  9. I started collecting Pre Robins in 2006 and they have gone in one direction: up!
  10. very nice Sam. You are going into a very deep end of the GA realm. The 35 has the best Bat splash that's for sure. I predict you will now be hooked into GA with this pickup and within 2017, you will have sold all your SA to buy gold #2017prediction .
  11. AA16 is a big bed sheet golden age comic. Comics from the 30s - 70s were printed in different sizes --your comic is wider than silver age books, and needs a Super Gold bag and boards to fit. Sounds like you ordered bags for comics from the 1970s- modern, and you will see those bags and boards will be too small. Also, don't order poly bags. I'd recommend Bill Cole Super Gold bags with Super Gold boards.
  12. no question, I'd take the 2.5 with better eye appeal. It's more affordable and will have a more sizable market to sell to being low grade. Colors on a cap 1 are always hard to get nice and bright. As cool as it would be to own such a hign grade copy, at the end I'm inclined to agree with you. -J. Tough call. I'd have to see how badly the lack of red ink detracts from the cover of the 8.0. I don't want any slightly faded reds on a Cap 1. When I bought my 3.0 the colors were the brightest I've seen on a low grade copy.

  14. I think it was early in 1973, and I read that he had no say in Gwen Stacey being killed off since he was across the pond.
  15. some collectors love date stamps. Might positively affect price I love full date stamps, cleanly placed on FCs.
  16. It's not an officially recognized pedigree. If I'm not mistaken, the grades weren't high enough. yup just like the diamond run which cgc started to take off their labels. They are both just collections.
  17. very odd and a first seeing a MAY date stamp on a FF1. Perhaps that was a used copy that was stamped at a used book store well after Aug 1961..?
