  3. yep Jon. In fact, the Batman title was created entirely from the planned inventory of stories and art originally meant for Detective Comics...Same thing for the Joker/Robin splash page on the second interior Joker story in bat 1/Tec 40 cover
  4. Jeff, Really cool thread you put together! I can see this lasting several pages The historical impact on pop culture is really nice to study and appreciate. I owned one Okajima (Jungle Comics 163?) and knowing the story of the little girl is cool
  5. (thumbs u congrats. The tougher part of the run is done...all down hill now after the 31...
  6. I seem to remember seeing this photo in an article about comic conventions in an old monster magazine (Monsters and Heroes? Castle of Frankenstein?). So it might be from the late 1960's, and the kid's in costume for the convention. David Armstrong wears a homemade Captain America costume as he reads a Golden Age issue of Captain America Comics 2 during a 1960s convention. This photo saw print at least as early as Monsters and Heroes #5 (July 1969). Jeff
  7. I get my arse handed to me, then we share a coke zero and make googley eyes at Harley quinn is that all before or after the three point shooting and FG kicking contest?
  8. GAtor, Got any video? Maybe instead of selling action figures and high end comics, you missed your true calling? there are a few videos around. I have one I vainly did where I hit 97/100 free throws. Come to Chicago in August and join us for a game ...live and in person (thumbs u i ran with them in San Diego before. Witnessed it. I tickled the twine a bit myself. Well if it was Gator's twine you were tickling, maybe that's why he made the 97 out of 100. don't worry bill, benny is not homing in on your parade Rick, who makes it to the Super Bowl and wins? I'm hoping for an all Harbaugh bowl
