I think if he hasn't responded yet, he's probably high-tailed it out of here. Maybe someone should post his paypal ID, name and address so when he comes back with a different board name, people can recognize him and cancel the transaction before sending the book. I suggested this a long time ago for those that keep coming back under different shills. Arch said it can't happen. We can't post their real name and address.

Sounds like someone's dipped in the peyote bucket again. I countered him with a $30 refund and he accepted. That should cover a reholder and some shipping assuming it really is damaged. Oh man, that's sweet!

We had a drug store that had several boxes of back issues when I was a kid, circa 1978ish. I remember they had a Green Lantern 76 with a $4 price sticker on it and I wanted it like a man wants a woman. The first true comic shop I ever went in was Comics and Collectibles in Memphis. This was around 1987. I remember being stunned that they had full runs of every title. ASM #2 up, FF #2 up, X-Men #2 up, Avengers #2 up and these were all IN THE REGULAR INVENTORY BOXES! They had all the #1s but they were on the wall behind the counter. I immediately left that store and drove to Memphis Comics and Records. They didn't seem to be nearly as nice and organized as CnC, but it was a nerd wet dream come true. Good times.

Is anyone else having trouble viewing their invoices online? When I look it just says "No invoices currently available." and has said this for over a week now.

Someone should do a list of 9.8 prices on all the Stevens books. I'm going to submit a few and need to know which ones are the ones people are looking for.

The book has no stress and sharp corners. There is a small almost unnoticeable crack to the ink on the tip of one corner. From the front cover it's visually a solid 9.4/9.6. The back cover has a little creamyness at the corners and possibly even a little foxing. They hammered the grade because of it. The book was slabbed before I got it signed and it got the same grade from the CGC both times. Heartbreaking, but far and away the nicest 7.0 that will ever be on the census. I'll never sell it anyway, so the grade really doesn't matter much to me.

I didn't know there was a second print of that book. What other Stevens books have second prints?

Thanks to whoever bumped this thread. Now I have a new book to hunt down. I might have a decent copy. I'll have to look.
