  1. One of the very first DC bronze horror books that I ever bought. Times change, interests change, but this will always be one of my favorite books and one of my favorite Wrightson covers! Goodbye old friend. Hope you find a great new home. (thumbs u See page 1, third post of this thread.
  2. Here's some nice Avison and Shores goodness from Cap #15...
  3. There are some very nice Timelys being shown lately. Here's my latest pickup from the last CL auction...
  4. What a beautiful book!!!! Can't wait to see the rest of the collection.
  5. Wow...super-tough book! Yes it is. The last recorded sale was five years ago. It was also a 7.0, but had WHITE Pages!!!! I love the deep, rich colors on this book. Most certainly, took forever to find my 8.0 copy. You have some beautiful Nedors!
  6. By the way, here's a book I picked up at Heroes this year. Just got it back from CGC. I had hoped for a little higher grade, but it is very nice. The cover colors are just spectacular, and very nice pages too.
  7. Wow...super-tough book! Yes it is. The last recorded sale was five years ago. It was also a 7.0, but had WHITE Pages!!!! I love the deep, rich colors on this book.
  8. Awesome books! Looks like everyone on these boards is a Nedor collector... That Exciting # 32 is calling to me.... Yea....that 32 is sweet !! You want NAZI'S??? You want Hero's??? You got it all right there in that book Thanks guys. How can you NOT collect these great Nedors?!! Sweet Schomburg action covers. Nazi's and knock-out covers!!!
  9. I picked this up at the Heroes Con this weekend. It is my first GA Action, and it is a beauty with gorgeous pages!
  10. Great cover and great copy, Steve. You've got quite an FF run! WOW!!!! One of my favorite FF covers! Beautiful. We'd love to see a group shot when you get done.
  11. Wow! Way to go! Colors are beautiful. Did the other two copies look as nice? Thanks. This was the best of the three. Just a couple of non-color breaking corner creases (which could easily be pressed out, if one was so inclined). The other two were still pretty nice. There was also a nice #72, but it had a small piece out of the front cover.
  12. Picked this book up at a local mini con today! The dealer that I got this book from had three copies. He said that they were tucked into a SA collection that he bought a while back.
  13. Thanks. I think the Planets in this auction were, in general, a great deal with most going for under guide. I really like the early issues with the old logo better than the later issues, but they are all pretty nice. IMO you got the deal of the run on the #3 — 9.0 with a beautiful black cover and white pages and $800 under guide!!!!!! Great pickups and a huge chunk out of your wantlist crossed off. (thumbs u — Rick
  14. Here's my lone score from the CL auction. — Rick
  15. That 10 looks pretty nice for an 8.5....very nice books dude.. I agree. Beautiful colors on that #10. (thumbs u — Rick
  16. We're hoping you were the one who pulled the trigger on the FF 8...9.0 on Comiclink....probably one of the toughest FF's in 9.0 or higher.GOD BLESS... -jimbo(a fried of jesus) (thumbs u P.S. It sold for $ 3500....about 50 % higher than the surrounding issues in similar grade. It really should be broken out in Overstreet...as should 16,36,39,and 57.Those usually sell for more than the rest in their respective groupings. Yes. That is such a tough one to find in HG. It would have been perfect for your collection.
  17. Beautiful book, Ken!!!! Even though BA Horror has cooled quite a bit, I betcha that book would go for big bucks at auction. But, I bet that one isn't going anywhere! — Rick
