  1. In theory, if you removed the “restoration”, you could end up with a book in the 1.5/1.8 range. But why bother? You would need to have the restoration professionally removed to get all the glue off (assuming it even can be removed). The book’s condition wouldn’t warrant the expense IMHO.
  2. I’d give it an 8.0 based on additional pics. Ver nice. Congrats!
  3. Agree with @marvelmaniac that we need pics of the staples and centerfold to get a better idea. That aside, it looks like a beautiful copy. Another hard one to find in high grade.
  4. Is that an blue ink transfer above Bagley's signature on the cover (under Carnage's leg)? I'm also going to go with 9.2, possibly 9.4. But who knows! You may land higher. There are a lot of high grade copies of this book out there so I think CGC tends to be pretty picky. Thanks for posting.
  5. Another beautiful copy. I’m going to say 9.2. Clearly @Eclipse9965has an SA Spidy collection that would make any of us week in the knees 😁. Congrats!
  6. 7.0 for me. SA Spidey key should earn this book a little flexibility. It looks really nice too!
  7. Don’t get this graded. It will not come back with a blue label and, for all the reasons previously mentioned, would not be worth the expense.
  8. In my experience CGC is really tough with this book. I think you are likely to land at an 8.0 maybe an 8.5. If you get higher then that be very happy. Nice book to have. Thanks for posting.
  9. 4.0 with a C&P. A great book to have even in a lower grade. Thanks for posting.
  10. I'm going to go with 9.0. That back cover crease looks non color breaking and a really good presser might be able to get it out. Moot point now, I guess, but still a really nice book. Thanks for posting!
  11. 9.4, although I see a line running down the center right (facing) of the cover. Assuming that it is an issue with the image, not the book. ASM 50 is so rare in high grade. So jealous it hurts! Congrats.
  12. I wounder, would cleaning the cover remove the color touch? I know that cover cleaning would result in a conserved label but I'd much prefer that to a butchered book.
  13. What a beautiful copy! I don't think CGC will be as cruel as they usual are with the staple stain on this book. It is minimal and not caused by soiling. Dito for the small cover tear. I've got a Bronze Age book with a much bigger tear graded at an 8.0. For a Silver Age Spidey key like yours, I think you have a decent shot at a 8.5, maybe even a 9.0. Great book. Congrats!
  14. Ouch! Unfortunately I would have to agree with 1.0.
  15. Definitely a beautiful copy. Based on the single image in the slab, I'd say that the original grade of 6.5 was way off the mark. Congratulations!
  16. From a 6.5 to a 9.4! That’s the largest bump that I have ever heard of, especially for a Silver Age book. Very happy for @Corallas but a grade variance like that is kinda scary. Really beginning to wonder about CGC’s grading standards at this point.
  17. 9.2 due to minor spine stress but also what appears to be faint writing (possibly a “10”) in the upper left corner of the cover, just above the Marvel Comics masthead.
