  1. I’d say 8-8.5 assuming no resto is present. Tiny corner crease in upper right corner of front cover may keep this from going higher. In any case, a gorgeous copy. Congrats!
  2. I would guess a 6.0. I think that the bottom corners are the only issues holding this book back from a much higher grade. Don’t have much experience with GA books. Really really nice eye appeal though. Thanks for posting!
  3. Inside page tear hurts on this one…. Any thoughts on a grade?
  4. Posting a batch of early ASM’s to the board for some grade guidance. Starting with ASM 13.
  5. I understand your frustration. It’s not a science to be sure. Still, the consensus seems to be that you are likely to land between 7.0 - 8.0. I’m on the very low end of that scale other are on the high end. It’s part and parcel of this little game we are all playing. Of course we could all be wrong….🤣
  6. Actually, I just noticed the crease at the bottom of the front cover so probably not a 7.5. Still a possible 6.5-7.0. Absolutely worth picking up for VG money. Congrats.
  7. 6.5 - 7.0 with a C&P. Lots of stress lines and possible watermark in the yellow about 3" above the barcode along the spine. C&P will help with the spine roll. In my experience, this is one of those books that gets graded very harshly by the folks at CGC.
  8. I would say 7.0 - 7.5. Assuming you can get that corner pressed out nicely.
  9. I would say 3.5 on this one. Thanks for posting.
  10. A nice copy to be sure. I would guess between 7.0 -7.5 with a clean and press. Thanks for posting.
  11. I think 6’s are a bit low for this one. I would guess 7.0 with a press. If the dust shadow can be cleaned from the corner of the back cover, I would go as high as 7.5. Beautiful book either way. Congrats and thanks for posting!
  12. Such a cool book in any grade. Of course I'm biased as the proud custodian of a coverless copy signed by the Maestro himself!... Would love to find an original cover for this some day.
  13. Agreed. The 1.0 grade is due to it's overall condition (tears, stains, foxing, etc.). The cover being attached or detached really wont affect the grade or the value of the book. In fact, having the book slabbed by CGC with a blue label will maximize it's value and protect it in its current fragile state. I would definitely send it in.
  14. I would agree that the SS service generally improves your chances for grade leniency (as long as you include a press). I’m guessing 7.5 - 8,5 on this book. Thanks for posting.
  15. Congrats! All great books and you received some great grades. Welcome to the boards. Look forward to seeing what comes next.
  16. I'm sorry to hear it @ComicSpa. I think you should still have the book graded and slabbed. I would obviously avoid a clean & press though. The book has such great eye appeal, It will look great and be better protected in a slab. IMHO...
