  1. Uh oh. Mike is reciting off the samplers they have tatted in The Cabal clubhouse about how to respond when people bring up The Cabal. This is going to get UNPRETTY.
  2. It's possible HA is being conservative or careful about Starlin's work on these pages based on how weird Warlock 15's execution was. Also, Starlin did ink a few pages to AA7, as I recall. G
  3. I'm not sure I understand what you're trying to say, but if you don't know whether something is a forgery or not, you can start by reading the articles I wrote in the Jack Kirby Collector about how to recognize them. Glad you're bothered. That's the first step.
  4. I love this board. Drop in on page ten of a discussion about the ASM 100 cover and here's a spirited argument (already settled 20 years ago on a fictive submarine, no less) about which artist does the best Silver Surfer. Thread Drift isn't enough -- we have disappeared into a...
  5. This made me laugh. I like the cut of your jib.
  6. Welp, Mike has talked me out of bidding on the ASM 100 cover.
  7. Wow, what a great pick up. This page is, among other things, hilarious.
  8. I write for the LA Times. You'd think I could see the article, but noooooooooo. Article limit reached. What's all this attempting to actually survive financially in this age? Boo! G

  11. Did anyone see this page in person? If so, how did it look?
  12. That's exactly what Peter Schjeldahl said in the New Yorker about Salvator Mundi.
  13. Thank you. No, I seriously wasn't joking. I was on the site and hitting buttons, hoping one of them would take me to it, but I couldn't figure it out.
  14. As soon as I stop googling myself, I'll give this a shot.
  15. I like the page a lot. I was surprised to see a dealer had bought it for flipping, but only because it looks to me like it was purchased at the top of the market. I'll be delighted to be proved wrong, if only for the morale boost to my own Ant Man page, heh.
  16. Did everyone tracking that Marvel's Greatest Comics cover get the email indicating the description has changed? G
  17. Mais non! https://www.invaluable.co.uk/auction-lot/-1-c-5154B0EA5D Must be a weird mistranslation somewhere, right?
  18. "Comicconnect is one of the five worst comic artwork websites on the internet. Not only do they have no search function, they use comments off of internet forums without asking people's permission." -- Glen Gold
