  1. Not looking to argue, but want to discuss this point. You state "PP has the potential to be even bigger because it is based on a subject matter that appeals to a broader audience." I assume you are talking about it being based on Peter Pan? This isn't necessarily aimed only at Mike's Rack, so please anyone chime in: Is Peter Pan really a broader audience than the zombie genre? its up there PP has huge international potential. if done right this will be huge ! No next question PP has the potential to be even bigger than Walking Dead. What have you been smokin'? You can't possible think that a subject matter on WW2 & Nazi's is going to appeal to a larger audience.
  2. That's as clear as mud, isn't it? X-Force v1 had really high print counts. I was able to find a NM+ bagged #1 in the $0.50 bin back in May 2013. I too have been questioning why the prices haven't increased much considering the latest news. Especially since X-Force is early Cable and early Deadpool. You still can. Doesn't X-Force #1 have the 2nd highest print run ever? Yes. X-Force #1 has the 2nd highest print run just behind X-Men #1.
  3. Did anyone notice that this thread has just reached over 1000000 views.
  4. Fox stated last year that they are going to expand the X-Men Cinematic Universe. Surprise surprise. Fox Studios has recently registered a domain name. x-forcemovie.com Remember this is a speculation thread. This movie might not happen.
  5. IMO WB has only 3 choices for MOS 2. It has to be either Brainac, Doomsday or Metallo for MOS 2 to be successful. If WB does Lex again they will loose the audience.
  6. I saw one 2 weeks ago and thought nothing of it. Didn't know it's a JC Penney reprint. But does this make it a Marvel second print? What I mean is a book that Marvel actually went back to press on, not a book that some other company did a printing of (i.e. Marvel Legends books or sendaways like this Stridex book). May seem like splitting hairs but it makes a difference to me. When I saw it 2 weeks ago I opened up the book and indica says "2nd Print"
  7. I saw one 2 weeks ago and thought nothing of it. Didn't know it's a JC Penney reprint.
  8. Nothing new. Catwoman #51 has been selling at those prices for years.
  9. I bought that comic when it came out. That was a prism foil cover thing to it? Right? That one a different printing? 1st print. Newsstand Edition. Most newsstand editions from the 1990's did not have the special gimmick covers (ie. Foil, hologram, prism, etc..).
  10. I thought this was interesting that 1000 copies of The Crow #1 (1st Print) were given away at the Capital City Trade Show in Spring 1989. That is a lot of copies.
  11. Just clear a few things. History of Caliber Comics Gary Reed indicates that in Spring 1989 Deadwold #10 is the 1st Caliber comic.
  12. Will someone just come forward and admit they have bought like 40 copies of this book. That way we can end this stupid argument. Its fairly obvious some are invested in this book heavily apparently. Every 5 to 10 pages this books gets brought up. If it aint selling it aint selling.
  13. Instead of trying to mask or hide the fact just say that Bishop and Warpath are confirmed for the X-Men Days of Future Past movie. Uncanny X-Men #282 (1st Bishop) New Mutants #16 (1st Warpath)
  14. None of these books rising in price should be a surprise. Marvel/Disney has already said many years ago what movies they are going to do for the next 10 years. That is not including the TV shows. For example: Dr. Strange was just confirmed but Marvel/Disney has been saying for years now that it will be a movie. The next 5 years is going to be huge if you are a bronze age collector especially if you collect marvel. As for DC/WB that is a different story.
  15. Crossbones is the villian in the next Captain America movie. An actor has already been cast for the role.
  16. I have been on hiatus for a while but I will back contributing to the boards on a regular basis soon. Justice League of America #183 - 185 (JLA Movie?) Captain America #359 & 360 (1st Crossbones) Thor #344 & 345 (1st Malekith - Dark Elf) Marvel Comics Presents #26 & 27 (1st Eric Savin) *started to cool
  17. Here is the advertisement on the back cover of Rion 2990 #1.
